Excellent scoby
I’m very satisfied with this scoby! It arrived quickly and in great shape—thick, healthy, and ready to go. Brewing the tea was super easy, and within just 7 days I had my first batch of delicious kombucha. The taste was surprisingly smooth and well-balanced. I've been using it weekly since and consistently get fresh kombucha. Highly recommend it, especially if you're a beginner in that process.

Great Starter SCOBY
Don’t be surprised that they’re SUPER full- it’s the gasses being released. I really like these and they worked extremely well for making Kombucha. In one brew, it pays for itself! And, I got it really fast and could start brewing right away. Plus, it’s cheap and I didn’t have to track one down from someone local which I’ve done before! Yay!

Could make a mess when opening shipping package.
Product was great, package not so great, leaked hard to tell but package it arrived in had all the liquid not the actual packaging but it still worked out.

SCOBY arrived defective, no refund
The package was leaking when it arrived, but I tried to brew with it anyway. It wasn't viable. I am an experienced kombucha brewer, so it was definitely the SCOBY. Sadly, no returns or refunds. Money down the drain.

Great product
I have had great success with this brand and they are less expensive than another brand I tried that wasn’t as healthy and did not have success with.

Pros and cons
Beautiful large scoby…not as much starter usually included. Calls for additional starter. Recipe for very small batch…I added vinegar and made a gallon so we shall see.

Reliable product
It came with two healthy SCOBYs that I killed lmao. Don’t be like me, follow the directions they give you. I made too much tea and didn’t have enough starter liquid so it grew mold and I had to compost it 😭 be better than me. I didn’t mind paying what I paid for it when I thought it was the only option, but I ended up getting the one I have now for free from someone in a local gardening group on facebook.

start your brew with one that works and you should never need another
If you know what you're doing, this thing is going to have babies you can't give away. (Not that I recommend trying to give your children away, even if there is that one on your wish list)I give them away and throw out so many after you have one. It just dawned on me that there is an organic shop on the corner that doesn't have these or micogreens. Get a food sealer and a brochure, and I might be selling them like hotcakes.
