Natural Vegetable tanned leather is one of the oldest methods of making leather and has been used for thousands of years. It uses natural tannins found in barks, wood and other parts of plants to convert animal skin into leather. This is the most environmentally friendly way to tan leather and is widely recognised as the most desirable for high quality products. The occasional mark is not uncommon as this leather has the top grain surface still intact - this adds to the character of the product and this will age beautifully over time. We only deal in top grain cowhide leather as appose to spilt hide. Top Grain includes the actual surface of the skin with all of its natural pores, wrinkles, and scars. It is the strongest part of the hide. They distinguish genuine leather from man-made materials. Some marks can appear on the surface of leather which are healed scratches. In some cases a small hole(s) can result from the tanning process. Any of these markings may be present on your leather and is your assurance that you have a true top grain leather. Leather is a natural product; grain pattern and color may vary from hide to hide and within the hide. Please note: Each leather item is packaged in a plastic protection cover. This is a very nice, lightweight leather that has only one downside
This is a very nice, lightweight leather that has only one downside: it's very difficult to apply a stamped impression to, even after casing and with a mechanical press. If that's not a concern for your project, go right ahead, this stuff is great! Otherwise, consider branding, laser-engraving, or physically cutting your design into its surface.

The product was great. It wasn't what I was expecting but I was still able to work with it. This product wasn't as stiff as I would have liked but I was able to make the mask still. I have given it 4 stars simply because it wasn't what I was expecting but still worked none the less.

Crappy material
This looked pretty good but when i sewed a bag out of it the stitching pulled apart the leather was like plastic like, hard to work with. I will never buy from here again nor will I recommend to anyone.
