To be fair I wasn't expecting the listed specs for this price and wasn't disappointed. There is no way this servo is as fast or has as much torque as it claims, but with that said it is well worth the price. It has been in my trail crawler for a few months and no issues.If you are using this in a competition crawler or other RC I woukd suggest looking at others, if you have a basher or just for fun RC, get this.

Looked great when I opened packs. Due to I wasn't ready to install them yet didn't get to see how they worked until after return time passed. 2 of the 4 I ordered were working well, but the other two didn't work at all, in any of my radio systems. Couldn't return as time elapsed. Debating on getting a different brand instead of this brand. Not sure another 30 dollars is worth taking the chance the two I order might not work. 5 stars for the ones that did work though.

I just ordered two more of these (#'s 7 & 8). I've been using these in all of my 1/10 scale crawlers and will continue to! Very strong, and quick travel time. Absolutely silent at neutral unlike some more common name brand variants that hum and buzz with no active input, and acceptably quiet operation as well.The low price of the servo is usually enough for me to bypass a part as cheap, but after reading reviews here and on rccrawler.com I decided to try one and have not looked back. Value for the dollar is undeniable, not to mention the extra bonus of the aluminum horn (included) that by itself would cost $6 to $8 or more from a retailer.These will work great in any 1:10 Traxxas, Axial, MST, GMade or Vaterra vehicle, and seem to perform best at 6.5 volts from an ESC with adjustable BEC output or an external adjustable BEC.

This is a really nice, high-quality servo. I bought a few of them and have them all installed in my 1/10 scale rock climber vehicles. It works great and is waterproof, which is good for the occasional "splashdown" along the trails.The construction of the servo is excellent and although it is not the fastest servo, its movement is smooth and responsive ... which is perfect for the way I am using it. The servo includes a metal servo arm, that clamps securely onto the output gear of the servo. Like a previous reviewer noted, this method of securing the servo arm helps reduce slippage / shearing of the servo arm under heavy loads.
