The idea behind this Women's Balance Remedy to Roll from Neal's Yard Remedies is to reset equilibrium, to balance emotion and to restore clarity via aromatherapy - so it could be useful for women experiencing anxiety, stress, PMT or the menopause.Not sure I fit into any of these brackets and I've generally found roll on fragrances disappointing in terms of both scent and lack of longevity but I'm impressed by this one. It's a blend of patchouli, geranium, rose and frankincense - and it smells wonderful. The fragrance is long lasting in the same way you'd get with a good eau de parfum and I find myself often stopping to smell my inner wrist.Women's Balance comes in the iconic blue glass that's so much a part of the Neal's Yard brand. There's just 9ml in the bottle but little is needed and it should last a long time. Vegan, certified natural and 98% organic, apply to pulse points and the side of the neck. At £8, this is a high quality, well priced product that would make a perfect gift for a stressed out friend or relative and its compact size makes it easy to carry around in a handbag..

This is a sweet little roll-on. It’s nice and compact and purse-friendly. It looks posh and it rolls on smoothly. It leaves your skin looking just a little oily after use (unsurprisingly), but without the unwelcome stickiness of some other roll-ons.My reasons for not giving stars are basically the scent. Firstly, it doesn’t quite have the longevity I was hoping for. Half an hour after rolling a little bit on, I can’t detect it any more. Some other roll-on aromatherapy products simply last a bit longer.Secondly, the scent itself seems like a bit of a kludge to me, and by using frankincense and patchouli in particular, it’s ended up being a fairly earthy hybrid blend of scents that doesn’t quite have enough zing. Personally, I wish they’d used slightly fewer notes in the scent, and either gone for an earthy rich herbalist scent with the patchouli, or something sweeter with the rose and pelargonium. The in-between scent falls between two stools, for my nose at least.But it’s undoubtedly a quality product and does feel like an indulgent pick-me-up when rolled on.

The product description presently does not show the ingredients, and they are challenging to read on the bottle so I have provided a close-up photoConsidering the natural style of the product I felt the aroma lasts quite well, it does fade to quite a gentle fragrance.I consider it a pleasant fragrance, sweet and floral in nature but I am no expert!It is £8 at the time of review which I feel is reasonable, but it might be worth having a little shop around.I would check the listing of ingredients to ensure that there are none that you might have a reaction to - this is just a sensible practice and certainly not a consideration of the quality of the product. I have provided a photograph for that as there isn't one on the product description and it's pretty impossible to read on the bottle the writing is tiny.Five Stars but I would recommend they add a full ingredient profile to the product description on here.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Neal’s yard Remedies to Roll - for emotional balance: I like the Neal’s Yard range of products, they always provide a nice, natural smell rather than synthetic and chemically based and this is no exception. It’s scented by Rose hip oil and geraniums and the Rose is the key top note, providing a very pleasant floral blend. It’s quite potent and lasts, so caution required when applying as not much is needed.It states that ingredients are 98% organic and this appears to be the case given the wide range of natural ingredients listed, although you do need your magnifying glass to see them properly!At £8.00 I think this is reasonably priced for an Aromatherapy essential oils based product - it’ll definitely last well. Do I feel more emotionally balanced?… I doubt it, but it’s a relaxing and calming fragrance so I guess it might de-stress if you were feeling uptight, but regardless it’s a warm, natural & pleasant perfume for every day use.
