GREAT TECHNOLOGY for a very good, though apparently misunderstood, shirt.
This shirt is almost as good as a spanx zoned compression shirt, but at 1/5 of what you'd pay for a spanx via a wholesaler.PROS:*great compression look; tucks all the unsightly bulges away into places where they look better*great compression feel; breathable material reduces the suffocating effect, and soft material eliminates skin irritation*great compression support: significantly reduces back pain by the end of the day, and also forces more continuous flexing of the abs*seams are very difficult to see, and is almost passable as a t-shirt (as far as looks go) once you've got it on*makes a great swim shirt to keep you from mushrooming out and over your trunks*also functions as a warm base layer during autumn or winter; might wear it by itself or with a light top in the summer*very inexpensive for the technologyCONS:*although well constructed (been through dozens of uses and washings now), it's evident that it is not holding up quite as strongly as a spanx zoned compression shirt wouldI currently wear 2X shirts, but I happily use this in a size L.It is a compression shirt. It's called shapewear. Several reviewers seem either not to know what it is or how you're supposed to put it on. If you do not follow the recommended procedure, you probably will NOT be able to get it on at ALL. You will end up with a wad of material strangling your armpits or even your neck, and finding yourself challenged just to get it off.To put on:1) Stick your arms through the arm holes, and slip the waist over your head.2) With the head hole sitting on top of your head (head not yet through), carefully draw the material back up over your nose until you have just enough material to stretch from the bottom of the shirt (which is currently at your armpits) up to your nose--the rest of the material should be above your head.3) grabbing with one hand at each side, and holding it by the bottom of the shirt, inch the bottom of the shirt down until you are actually able to pull it and slide it down over your torsoTo take it off: reverse through the procedure as well as you can. After a couple times, it will be like second nature.

Fit into rented pants that were roughly two inches smaller than my size.
The fit is as expected based on the size chart. These are fairly breathable. After washing a few times, I'm curious as to how they will hold up. I have never owned anything like this, but I have worn a couple before. The Spanx version feels better and creates a more natural shape. These don't smooth the love handles as well, but for the money, they are a good value. I am in a show right now, and we are using rented costumes. The last man that wore my costumes was easily two inches smaller in the waste. Although not as good as more expensive options, the Powerbody Shapewear allowed me to fit in my costume pants, and I was comfortable through a roughly 5 hour tech/dress rehearsal. Don't expect magic from these, but they are helpful and are a pretty good option at a lower price point.

It does what you want it to do, just wish it was a bit more durable.
I recently grabbed one of these as an alternative to some of the more expensive shapewear shirts on the market. You can afford to get a few of these for the price of one of the higher end ones. While the material feels very good and the shirt does it's job, after my 3rd time wearing it the seem came out on one of the sleeves. It is still usable but only for a few more uses while it unravels. I expected a little bit more durability out of the product based on other reviews. I could have just had a poorly stitched shirt. I also liked that when worn as an undershirt, the material looks like a plain white t-shirt and not a compression shirt.

Too small, but if you buy 2 sizes larger, then it's fine.
I bought a size larger and it's still tight. I recommend buying 2 sizes up. I bought my size first, when I got it, I tried it on and my arms didn't fit, so I returned it. A week later I got a size larger delivered and it was still too small but I was able to wear it. I did not feel like waiting again so I decided to just wear this as an undershirt, which works well as that I guess.I am telling you, if you use US sizing, buy 2 sizes up.

good price, tbd on quality and service.
I ordered more of these even though the stitching is coming out of my first one. The price point is great, and it does as advertised. I am planning to return the one and am betting that by buying three for the price of one ofnthe more expensove brands that it will work out in my favor. I am five eleven ant twohundred fifteen pounds. Xl is good, i am also trying a large to see if it is possible. I will update this review based on how they handle the return and the quality of my pending order.

Just as described.
Okay, I understand that many people are weary of these due to fear of them being either too small to get on, or too big to work as they are supposed to. The sizing chart is pretty accurate. My shirt size is large. Therefore, I ordered a large in these. Fit perfectly. I recommend purchasing the black. You can wear it under pretty much anything and it makes you look even slimmer. I am considering ordering a white as well to mix it up. This shirt DOES in fact make you look slimmer. It is pretty obvious as soon as you put it on. In my opinion, the people who say it doesn't work... perhaps ordered the wrong size. I was skeptical when I ordered... now I am happy I did. Great product. Don't hesitate or put off this purchase. You'll be glad you bought it.

Good, but not perfect. Nice undershirt but not quite as much compression as Under Armour compression shirts.
I have been trying a lot of a compression shirts and this is one of the better ones I have tried out. It doesn't have quite as much compression, especially in the shoulders/arms, as my Under Armor ones but it doesn't look like an athletic shirt either. I'm thinking about ordering one size down (medium) to see if that helps the compression. FWIW, I'm 6'2" ~195lbs. I'm not sure how long these will last. The stitching came out in one of the arm pits after the very first time I washed it.

Decent Shapewear For Men
Pretty good shapewear for the money. You might need to break it in a few times before it works best. If I'm wearing something really tight and fitted, this is great for tucking in my extra pounds. To take it off you kind of have to do one of those cross arms from the back all the way up to avoid a tear.Edit: Lasted me a few years of intermittent use before it had to be retired from normal wear and tear of an undershirt.
