Nice Rod
It took us awhile to replace our older similar rod that had collapsed, mainly due to wanting the measurements to match. The straight rod piece of this product was too long yet dh cut it easily with a hand saw. Due to nature of aluminum, go slowly to not dent rod. We also shortened the ceiling support rod which was easy.Installation was not bad for us.Although it's lightweight, it's sturdy enough. But due to needing extra long liner and curtain for this vintage bath, I've chosen ones that are lightweight to not stress the rod. This rod system was also the best price (and right color) i found after spending hours searching Wayfair, AMZ, WM and more.

Broke quickly
Overall, I love this shower curtain rod. I did have an issue, though. One of the end brackets broke quickly, and IMO, easily. I contacted the seller to ask if I could get a replacement for that one piece. No reply at all. I ended up ordering a whole new one so that I could fix it. It has been weeks, and so far it is holding up well. Maybe just one defective bracket, I'm not sure. The look of it in my vintage-inspired bathroom is great. Other than that one problem, I'm very happy with it.

Fragile!
First, I had a problem with the color. I wouldn't call it oil brushed bronze, it looks brown. I figured its fine, as long as it semi matches and works. I got it hung, as I was putting the corner support in, I realized it was a little high so I went over to unscrew the wall mounts. Snapped! Both at the same time!! I've had this all of 2 days! Whatever metal those mounts are made out of is awful! What a waste of money and now I can't send it back.

Not bad for price
Given the price it's hard to complain. The instructions, however, are lacking for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience. For this particular product you will need a 1/4" masonry drill bit for tile pr regular bit for drywall. You will also need a power drill, level, tape measure and dry erase marker or pencil. My recommendation is measure how low you want the support bat, then measure accordingly and place your Brackets. If you are using tile, make sure you put painters tape all over the tile so you don't have excess chipping of the tile while drilling your holes. Again for the price, it's not bad
