MISI Acoustic Trio Uke

Installed this into a Kamaka tenor. It's awesome. I will say its pretty natural sounding which kinda sounds a little flat which is kinda what I wanted...you can EQ it later if needed. Other active pickups sound too much on the lows and highs. Nice little pickup that you charge up before using - takes 60 seconds. Unlike a battery, you are always getting good sound as the capacitor delivers a constant charge...until it doesn't. That said I played a 3 hour gig no problem. Supposedly it will go 12-16 hours on a 60 second charge. I kinda wish I had a volume knob or tone control (which they sell seperately for guitars but I doubt that will fit the uke. This is the whole kit (pickup, amp, and plug) so take it to a shop and they can easily install it...I'm not brave enough to do that operation myself.

I had my guitar guy install this for me in my Martin 'ukulele. The sound we get from it through our sound system is fabulous.

It works great on my ukulele.
