Why in the world would you spend $26 to buy a 12 can variety pack when you can get 24 of the one flavor (yellow fin tuna) for a dollar more? This item deserves a low rating for such a terrible price, but the food itself deserves 4-5 stars.Petite Cuisine is a bit pricier than some grain-free canned food plus the cans contain less food, but my cats are picky little brats who need a rotating variety of flavors & textures to keep them eating. (Oddly enough, they all prefer dry food, but I switched them all to canned as per vet's orders - not only is canned food much healthier, but the added moisture eliminated one of my cat's urinary tract issues.)I usually avoid foods that are chunks & gravy because the cats tend to lick up the gravy & leave the chunks to waste. But Petite Cuisine has plenty of sauce & small enough bits that they eat it all. And being so moist means I can mix it into a bowl of food that sat a couple of hours & needs refreshing. So, I always get a case of Petite Cuisine along with other kinds of cans.We've only bought yellow fin tuna since the other flavors are a fair amount higher in price. And I would buy more if they would lower the price a bit, but as it stands this is the most expensive of the cans we buy, so we limit it to 1 case a month (out of the 6 we buy).

The food is great, but waaaay overpriced. I thought I was buying 2 cases of 24 cans each for a total of just over $50 with shipping. Instead, I only got 2 cases of 12 cans each. On another website, I was able to buy 2 cases of 24 cans each for just over $58 with shipping. I feel like I was ripped off.
