My first review for spring solution was pretty negative as it felt like I was dragging an anchor on the best powder day this spring. This was most likely a result of me not properly removing all the Hertel hot sauce from the base. After totally cleaning the base and applying spring solution I had very different results. My board was super fast on groomers in the morning. As the snow softened I was able to glide over the sticky patches with little resistance and much speed. Seemed to work ok in the left over powder areas as well. I will be using this in the spring along with Hertel hot sauce in the winter.

I tried the Spring Solution during the winter and it was okay - not as fast as Super Hot Sauce. I'll be using that instead for most of the winter. Where the Spring Solution shines is well, in Spring! Thanks Captain Obvious, you say! In t-shirt weather or if the snow is dirty then this is the best wax. The dirt gets in other waxes and not only slows you down in that dirty snow patch, but then sticks to the base of your board making you ride slower and slower all day. With Spring Solution I was able to go through the darkest patches of dirty snow and not slow down, and my base didn't get as dirty as with other waxes. It did a little but nothing much. Also had consistent speed all day.

This is simply the best spring-weather wax I have ever used. I was gliding faster than everyone else.

This wax is slightly milky as you put it on, maybe a little fit of flouro or some other stuff to help repel the spring snow contaminants which always seem to build up as the snow melts.
