A very handy planning tool, guide and post-trip memory book for travel
I have used Michelin Green Guides for many years. They remain a handy source of information even in the digital age, although I don't use any guidebook as a source of specific lodging recommendations -- there is far better and more current information available online with customer reviews. But this guide (and others) are better at suggesting routes, describing major sights/sites, and providing background information to inform planning. The Michelin series are a nice size if you pack a guide to accompany you on a trip. For the digital generation, guidebooks may seem passé, but they also serve as a nice reminder of the wonders of a trip.

Sadly Michelin Quality Has Fallen Off The Cliff
This is my 26th Michelin Green Guide I have purchased over the past 30+ years. Every other one has been well written and accurate. This one was full of typos and errors. It was very frustrating to use it. Items were missing from the text that was on the maps, items were missing from the index or had the wrong page numbers, the driving tours page was from an older version and didn't match anything - this book was very poorly written and apparently no proof reading was done. I would send it back as it was junk except the timeframe to do that has passed as I bought it well before our trip and didn't use it before we left.

Kindle version good, but needs some work...
Got the Kindle version of this book. Pretty good; almost the same as the real book, but the maps need work. They are not clear when you try to zoom up to look at them. I hope that Michelin fixes that. Taking the Kindle version is so much easier than packing the real book.

Can't beat Michelin!
Wonderful resource to have along on my trip. I generally rely on online information but this book was wonderful to have handy to look up anything and everything wherever we went. Particularly when internet access was limited. I also have one for Scotland and we relied heavily on the Michelin guide there as well!

Michelin you let me down
Not nearly as complete an overview of interesting places and things to do as the old guide. Actually thought that was what I purchased. It will do bit not a keeper.

Not the Kindle edition!
Although this guide has valuable information and should have been a tremendous help, putting it on my Kindle was a disasterous idea. The maps we're too small to be useful, the page references become useless in finding entries since my Kindle doesn't have page numbers. Use this in it's printed form or not at all.

A Quality Guide to Ireland
This guide arrived very quickly and is the latest version at a competitive price. These guides are well made on quality paper and don't easily fall apart. I find them to be comprehensive and accurate. This addition is just what I need for my tour of Ireland.

Great concept but sloppy work
Plus+ Michelin is the only travel guide who rates everything in up to 3 stars. Simple and clear!+ Good walks in citiesMinus- Michelin green guides outside France tend to be sloppy. 2 examples:3 star sights found on the main map can’t always be found in the Index. E.g. Cliffs of Magho. That’s annoying!Description of the 8 featured Driving tours is limited to (in total!) 4 pages. The Grand Tour of 2 weeks is described in a half page. That’s being lazy!
