Excellent Toxic-Chemical-Free Product
Due to some health issues and nail damage incurred from a one-time acrylic nail manicure, I was having chronic problems with peeling/splitting nails that were not responding to any "treatments" (products that claimed to eliminate these problems with regular usage/application). I could not grow my nails at all as they were so weak and damaged that they were constantly tearing and breaking . After doing some research on Amazon, I found these Londontown nail colors, base coat, and top coat, and decided to give it a try. The price tag is hefty for nail color, but I was desperate as my hands were an unsightly mess! This may sound over-the-top, but these products have literally transformed my nails. I have been using the products exclusively for 2 months now; however, I began to see significant results in about 4 weeks. My nails are now strong, and have stopped peeling, splitting, and breaking. No doubt, all the toxic chemicals (like formaldehyde, etc...) in standard polishes were damaging my nails. As an added bonus, the polish goes on nicely, and wears well. Of course, I find that lighter shades show less wear and look better for multiple days (I cook, wash dishes, garden, etc...). My go-to color for everyday is The Full Monty, but I have slowly been adding other colors to my Londontown collection (just ordered 2 different reds for fall/winter). As stated earlier, these products are pricey, but they deliver, as promised, especially if you have problems tolerating the average chemical cocktail polishes available in the drug-store. Totally worth the price for me!

Best nail polish on the market
Nail polish junkie with ~100 bottles of every brand I've ever seen. This stuff knocks it out of the park. Super fabulous color, very chip resistant, and applies flawlessly. My new fave.I've had mixed experiences buying beauty products on Amazon and was happy with this purchase. Product exactly in same quality as one received from Londontownusa, but without the really high shipping cost.

Gorgeous sheer pink
This is a gorgeous sheer pink shade. I used 2 coats in the manicure in the picture. It almost looks like a French manicure.

Lasts very well!
I am usually skeptical about higher priced beauty products. I like many of them, but I have also been burned by paying a lot for things that end up being quite similar to their drug-store-level counterparts. I do my own nails because I work around the house and use my hands a lot. Manicures get chipped in a few days for me. I do like some polishes more than others because of their durability. I have been stuck on pearly white Sally Hansen for a looooong time, but they stopped making it. :( I usually choose light colors because you can't see chips as well as you can with dark. I love dark reds, but there is too much maintenance. I was worried about this lilac color because first, it is a different sort of color and I worried that it would look weird on me. And second, would any tiny chip really show.I put on the first light coat (I don't usually do heavy coats because I am impatient! ha ha!! I inevitably reach for the remote or something and smudge wet polish!) I was worried because it seemed pretty sheer for the first coat. I usually need 2-3 coats based on how much I put on with each swipe. On the second coat, I was happily surprised that it covered pretty opaquely. This was nicer polish than I first assumed! I did touch up 2 or three nails with a third coat where I put it on too thinly. They looked really good! I was also happily surprised at how much I liked this color. It is noticeable, but not too teenager-y or funky. I like those, but they are just not appropriate for work. I save the glitter for new years eve and vacations! This was pretty and feminine, but still not boring. The biggest surprise was how well it wears. I put this on and went about my normal day. Paperwork, typing, washing dishes (I don't wear gloves or anything like that), cleaning my bathroom, even decorating our christmas tree and untangling those evil lights!! THEN I took the photo the next morning. I figured if it looked scratched up or chipped, I would report it fairly. But it didn't. And I was kind of expecting it too. I would totally buy this brand in more colors.edit: I forgot to add one little thing: If you buy a color you like, make note of the name. Strangely, my bottle does not have the color name on the bottle at all, it was only on the box the bottle came in (which I threw away.) It is just a blank bottle.update: Actually, three IS a name on the bottle...it is just really tiny and was hard to see. (I added another photo...I needed to see it using my camera, my eyes couldn't read it alone!) Also, I have to add that I LOVE this polish. I am actually on this page again to buy some more colors. It lasts really well for me, even with no topcoat (I usually don't have time for that) and with USING my hands. I don't wash dishes with gloves, and I have been baking all week for christmas and this stuff has held up like a champ. LOVE it.update again (1/10): I loved the purple so much, I also bought this item in the Early Grey. I liked the performance of the lilac (Trolley Away) so much that I wanted more colors!!! The grey is very nice too...it kind of reminds me of car primer or a battleship (ha ha!) but it is shiny! I never thought I would like grey nail polish, but it really performs like a neutral. It looks great with black! and it seems to resist chipping on me very very well. I am trying not to buy more colors so soon...I would like to buy them all!

Very smooth application and great wear for a less harmful product.
I am pretty pleased with this nail polish, the color is very smooth and it has the application consistency of a more expensive polish. It dries quickly, I put it on 5 minutes before going out last night and my nails still look killer. The first time I used it I painted them before bed and applied a top coat, it held up for 3 days, and I'm always banging up my nails at work. I saw this in shape magazine and I hope the colors they had I there become available on Amazon soon 😊

Obsessed
I love nail polish. I bought this based on a review from someone who sounded like me. They get chips or something wrong after 2 days. I’m very hard on my manicures. I like gel and dip powder but not the damage it leaves. And I want something I can do at home. This stuff is AMAZING. I cants believe how well it wears. No chips. None. I’ve tried Sally Hansen, Butter, Essie, opi, etc. nothing has ever lasted like this for me. I want every color.

NOT gluten free...
Box says gluten free. Ingredients include hydrolyzed wheat protein. So it’s DEFINITELY not gluten free and therefore shouldn’t say so. It’s not a huge problem for me but could be for people with extreme sensitivity. I would expect more responsible labeling.

Giving It a Try
Goes on nicely, doesn't have a high shine finish, but I primarily purchased because I have terrible nails and wanted to try something without the formaldehyde. Purchased the base coat also, and the polish does last longer than others. If you want high shine, you'd need a top coat. Can't say yet if this helps my nails, and that's the reason for 4 stars. Only used it 2X & I wouldn't ordinarily pay this much for nail polish, but if it keeps my nails from splitting/cracking it'll be worth it.
