These are great for RTS, Warcraft II. Not just for FPS.

Superglide is apt name for these as they are so smooth your mouse will physically drift on its own. In fact as I type this I can see my mouse cursor trailing down the screen. Your desk had better be perfectly leveled.You need very steady hands and to use a low sensitivity to maintain a steady cursor because the lack of friction means your mouse picks up every micro movement which I imagine can really get out hand if you use a high sensitivity.Desktop use is frustrating, it's hard simply double clicking on things without dragging. You may want to have a second mouse handy for desktop use and keep your Superglides strictly for gaming. But don't even think about using these for any games with cursor driven gameplay (RTS, ARPG...)In game the smoothness does feel amazing for tracking targets, so If tracking is of the utmost importance for you then consider these. Just be prepared for the side effects.

I use it for gaming and I had to put down the DPI to 200! Otherwise the cursor would just move to quickly and uncontrollable. With this setting it is great.If your mat is not perfectly leveled the mouse and the cursor will move until it reaches the end of the mat.As others also suggested I am using a second mouse for daily tasks and the superglide equipped Roccat Kone Air only for gaming.I got used to it after a little while with the right DPI setting.I think it is not for everyone - you have to be aware of that, but overall I like it a lot!

These excel in tracking-type games like Overwatch. The extremely low to non-existent friction/resistance does take a few hours to get used to. These are not for everyone and can cause micro-movement adjustment issues. Highly recommended if you can learn to get used to glass skates.Edit: Five months later - you will feel all the inconsistencies on your mouse pad and it becomes dead slow. Not recommended

The glide is super smooth once you put these guys on. You need to give it one to two days to get used to the speed of the mouse but my tracking has never been better. If you play any fast pace fps game (Apex, COD, ETC.) you will love these mouse skates. Now if you're aim is shaky it might be harder to adjust to or just not for you. I would give it a solid week to see if these make your aim better or worse.
