Great disc, but champion plastic is better
The sidewinder is a excellent beginner disc for those who want to throw back hand shots or experiment throwing forehand shots. The sidewinder in the DX plastic is not as flexible and beats up a lot faster than the champion plastic so if you plan on using it for a while, upgrade to the champion plastic

Decent upper-beginner driver. Good intermediate-skill driver
This disc is a good "middle intermediate" disc - and what I mean by that is that someone like me, a low-intermediate / upper-beginner, can get it to fly straight with a really hard shot. Or in a headwind, it really does turn over like it's supposed to (if your shot needs that), which no other highly understable disc that I've tried so far will do, with my power level (such as the Mamba or Archangel). Since it does that in a headwind for me if I really sling it, and goes straight in a headwind with a moderate throw, I must assume that when I build up a little more power, I will be able to get it to turn over and curve annie around obstacles if I want to, even in calm winds or tailwind.

Very understable disc
The disc was fine. Just way too understable for my arm speed. I did get a couple 400+ ft roller shots out of it, but there are better non dx plastic discs that are more easily controlled and fly farther. You also have to hit the line just right to get an accurate air shot out of this dx sidewinder.

A must have for beginners and anyone looking for a reliable understable disc.
I highly recommend this disc to anyone that is just getting into disc golf. This disc is very forgiving to beginner mistakes, this was my first driver and it help me learn about hyzer and anhyzer throws. As my arm strength grew and this disc became more and more understable and would fade less and less. Now I use a Star sidewinder for when I need a understable disc or a roller disc. The only thing that I don't like about DX plastic is that it does get beaten up very quickly and will naturally become more understable. This could be a problem for people with strong arms since this disc is already understable and will require more experience to use it.

Still Learning to Throw
This is a disc I struggle to throw. The rating is really more about my performance than that of the disc. As a new player who throws predominantly forehand, I have yet to really figure this disc out. I know other folks who love this disc and use it every round but I have yet to get there.

Great disc for approaches and long putts. Does very well in windy conditions.
I like how durable it is in windy conditions.

Great for long turnover shots!
I like using this disc for big turnover shots. I like it on the tee pad and for fairway. This disc has help me birdie some tough holes and save some pars.

Flips to flat and goes far...
Right out of the box it has that nice, understable S flight without needing to be beat in first (due to DX plastic). Once it beats in it'll make a good roller disc.
