Reolink POE cameras are good for the price but have backup cameras
Reolink POE cameras are good for the price. After almost 2 years of use i didn't find myself having to replace one of the cameras. So it good to always have some back up cameras in stock just in case that happens

Works great easy set up
Excellent! Just hook it up to a PoE switch and scan the QR code from ReoLink app.It sets up real easy and you can get to it from internet, probably used UPnP on you router to get data out to the internet, which is a security concern.

Decent camera, great support!
I bought 2 cameras about five months ago. The quality and resolution are great. Text notifications are great too, plus the recording of sound and footage is a big plus. The App works great for desktop and Android devices. Since you can install a MicroSD card, you have 24/7 recording available without the need to pay extra for cloud storage. After 4 months of usage, one of the cameras went bad, and within a week, I got a free replacement after I returned the malfunctioning device that kept going OFF/ON. Support was really helpful; they kept communicating all the time about the status of my case. I definitely recommend this product!

I'd buy from Reolink again!
Bought a 6 camera system in January 2024 and I prefer the wired over the wireless. All the cameras worked well and as advertised. When a warranty issue can up they addressed it completely and very, very quick. I appreciate that kind of customer services. Thank you standing behind your product.

Disappointing compared to their previous model without the AI. Sound Quality Issues
Update: After 3 weeks I have decided these are going back. The AI detection is flawed and not great but better than none, (maybe) but the audio / sound / microphone quality is dreadful. It seems to have gotten worse by the week. The audio quality went from barely usable to unacceptable. I will be returning the two of this model I bought and the PTZ 823A camera because of these audio issues. I am also starting to see complaints on other Reolink models for sound / mic issues in my search for replacements cameras as well . Seems they may have gotten a bad batch of microphones or more problematic they may have switched to something cheaper that is not working right to save some money. Whatever the case may be we can assume the ratings of Reolink cameras are going to take a hit until it is fixed.I figured I was just having real bad luck with three of three cameras going bad in spite of it being two models but the other complaints tell me I am not alone. In the 823A model I think it could be related to design and have been there all along because while mine is worse than some online reviews there was still a quality change from these dome style cameras.Original: Disappointing compared to their previous model without the AI. Bad microphone / sound quality.I had bought 8 of the RLC-520 cameras and have had pretty good luck with those, my biggest gripe with those was QC. some had dust on inside of lens that cannot be removed that left ghosts at night using infrared. This has gotten worse over time, the pictures in IR mode have become more foggy as we go. However the microphones sound pick up was exceptional. I expected the same from these which were that earlier camera with added AI, or so I thought. They still have the IR image issues but the sound on the two I got is barely there, the others could pick up whispers at the neighbors house, these can barely pick up a conversation under them and yelling at the neighbors house (which isn't too far away). The AI addition was not worth the loss of the ability to hear conversations. Its nowhere near as bad as the underwater, water running, pipe echo sound the RLC-830A - 4K PTZ PoE I bought with these produces but still not good at all.I am hoping I just got a bad pair.
