Good tasting and truly alkaline!
There is a monitor on the handle that you set when you put in a new filter. I could not get it set. I will just use a calendar to know when to change the filter. The water definitely tastes better and I did check it with alkaline strips. My grandsons were surprised...the water from the pitcher was alkaline and their bottled water from the store....was not! Totally sold on it! Healthier water!

Tap water, Alkaline water: You choose.
Wamery Pitcher does as advertise by giving you a well made, durable product. I believe the quality of the pitcher will last for however long you use it .Of course if you don't drop it ( forgive me, I had to insert that ). The instructions are on the side of the box, so be aware in case for some who might expect a pamphlet inside the box. There is one filter that accompanies the pitcher,so be sure to follow the directions as there is a process to "prime" the filter ( my words ).After the cleaning and rinsing the pitcher as well as the filter, you are good to go to start drinking your alkaline water. Which btw, I notice a significant difference between my tap and pitcher water. And maybe even a visual "clarity" with the water as well. You gotta try it for yourself. This is my observation and opinion. Enjoy!

Water tastes good but did not alkalize
Received the shipment yesterday. Water tastes much better than that from Brita or Pur. However Wamery did not alkalize water. The first batch measured pH at around 7.3. I still will keep this. I guess the dechlorination and mineralization gives the better tasting.

Great product!
I love my wamery water pitcher! It lets you know how many days you have left on your filter. You know your water is always fresh when replenished.😊

Misleading and unproven claims - no certification on package - buyer beware
Wamery is a "certified American company" (whatever that means). If they are, they need to work on their mastery of the English language. Many of their claims sound like the standard pop-up Chinese product pages. They claim their filters are certified to NSF 42, 53, 372 standards (but not certified by NSF, which is an important distinction). They claim: "This is the most certified product on the market, NSF/ANSI 53 for Healthy effects by the reducing Cadmium, Copper & Mercury. NSF/ANSI 42 for positive Aesthetic effects for the reduction of Chlorine (taste & odor) and Zinc. NSF/ANSI 372 for a lead free compliance." - Note that it's not certified to remove lead; it's only certified not to add lead. And "most certified product on the market"? Prove it. It's not even NSF certified so it can't be the most certified. And WQA (Water Quality Association) is a trade association. That means its purpose is to serve the industry. It's there to help people who sell water purifiers. How might they do that? With claiming they have "independent labs" and creating their own seal and 'certification'. Lots of quotes here because there's a lot of misleading going on here. Just read the product page. Yes, the trade association may be honest about their results BUT there's not even any seal or certification on the product or packaging. There is no mention of WQA - just a stamp that says "AMERICAN COMPANY CERTIFIED QUALITY" which means nothing - though it's misleadingly made to look like a certification. The product packaging doesn't mention meeting any NSF/ANSI standards at all - nor does it claim certifications or any testing by anyone. As for the product design:-The filter leaks a lot of the water around its O-ring into the pitcher, so a quarter (give or take, maybe half) of the 'filtered' water isn't actually filtered. This is because the O-ring leaks on all sides. Repositioning the filter doesn't help. It's just a faulty design.-The plastic feels cheap and is quite thin. It feels like it would crack really easily so you have to be careful when handling it. But I guess that doesn't matter when the rest of the product doesn't work well and has no certification on it.-It's "Designed in USA Made in China". It feels like it's made as cheaply as possible.I could go on but this was already a waste of time and money.

Perfect!
I love this Alkaline water pitcher. It is exactly what I wanted and needed. My water tastes so clean and good. I am so happy I finally bought this pitcher. I no longer feel the need to purchase bottled water and that is a great thing!

Great pitcher but the lid doesn’t sit well
I just started using the Alkaline version of the pitcher. I like that there is a great and affordable pitcher to make alkaline water rather than purchasing bottled alkaline water that I have no idea how long has been sitting on the shelf. Plus the amount of bottles used—though I am recycling. I use filtered water to put in my pitcher. I have not tried it with tap water. I am thinking it would make my filtered water even better and have the benefits of alkalinity. However, the lid is a little bit of an issue for me. I can’t get it to fully sit on the pitcher. One side is a little unseated - handle side, as I don’t want that issue where you pour. I also noticed water going on the side of the filter—rather than through it. I tapped the pitcher down and that fixed it. I was going to remove and put the filter back if it didn’t. Overall, I like the pitcher. Got one for mom too.Update: 9/11/18:I was at my mom’s and refilled her pitcher. She has the same issue with the lid. Also, if you accidentally drag the bottom of the pitcher, the rubber part comes off and you will need to push it back in.I removed a star as I sent an inquiry this Saturday regarding something, and I have not received a reply from them.
