Fel-Pro BS 40666 Rear Engine Main Seal Set

Works good and no more oil leak.I also recommend buying a rear main installer tool. The only one I found online was from ASF Machine in Colorado. It presses the seal to the correct depth.

Changed clutch on our Subaru WRX and since we had it removed, decided to change rear engine seal which was a breeze. AMZ shipped it promptly and was impressed for the price - lot cheaper than local shops or the dreaded dealer.

The seal I got was black and labeled NOK. The OEM (Subaru) one is brown and listed NOK and has a long service life due to the Viton coating used. So I am not sure if this is a rebranded Subaru seal, if Fel-Pro makes the seals for Subaru, or neither. This installed just as easily as any OEM rear seal. Make sure you lubricate the inner seal prior to assembly and use caution to avoid rolling the inner seal edges over.

I had to replace a lower quality seal (ULTRA-POWER ) bought on a discount auto parts site, it lasted 15 minutes. This felpro one fits correctly and looks much better quality. Lesson leaned, spend a few dollars more and do the job once.

For perfect. Wasn't too tight, want loose at all didn't have to force it in. If you're looking good a good seal this will do the job.
