ALSTON 3K Wrapped 100% Carbon Fiber Tube 20x22x500mm Carbon Fiber Rods Pack of Two Pcs (Black-3)

I was worried about ordering these based on the product picture, but the equivalents I was looking at were out of stock and I wanted them now so I went for it. Actual product received was much better than the photo. The pattern looks great and the ends aren't nearly as rough as the photo. I'd buy them again.

Ordered this as the price was OK and prime got it to me quick.One tube was within spec but the other was not. The second tube measured in as 8.42mm on one end and was out-of-round until approximately halfway down the tube. When I contacted the company I was told that that was within spec and after inquiring about a return they didn't any respond further to my email.Unfortunately I paid for two tubes and now I only have one in spec tube and about 200mm worth of the other tube that meets the advertised specs.

These arrived in a crushed cardboard box, box had no packing to support it, rods not secured in any way, just rattling around.THAT, however, was not the problem. They were warped as heck!I wanted them as rails for my 3D printer (got 2), but the bearings (IGUS RJZM-01-08) wouldn't even start on three ends, and the fourth end the bearing slid on then JAMMED SOLID about 3 inches down the rod.You could just rotate them and see they were warped, and measuring with a caliper they were all over the map on dimension.TOTAL GARBAGE. I don't even think they'd be good for rails for a drone, a lot less demanding role.They're so long, sending them back (the box was crushed, not reusable) would have been absurd.NOT a happy camper.I got beautiful perfect rods from a Chinese place Bang Good, arrived in 8 days, mirror finish, perfect dimensions, bearing slid like silk with almost no slop, just like these should have.

Beware, these rods are slightly more than 8mm.
