Excellent scale! You actually get the SAME weight if you step off and immediately back on! And the weight CHANGES if you weigh yourself with clothes and without! These may sound like things one should expect from a scale, but with many other digital scales I've tried this simply wasn't so. The readings would fluctuate (sometimes by 2-3 pounds) from one second to the next for no reason or would be the same with or without clothes. Not with this scale! I am totally satisfied with it and definitely recommend it. Only negative is that it doesn't have a back light.

I chose this particular scale because the advertisement for it said that it was "precise" in its measurements. However, after receiving it and reading all of the material that came with it, I began to use it. I can step on it and it will read one weight...step off...let the weight reading disappear, then step on again...and it will give a different weight....every single time. So how am I supposed to know how much I weigh...ever? I was replacing a scale I've had for twenty years that is not digital and it still reads exactly the same whenever I weigh myself...as long as I weigh within seconds again like I did with the precision. At least its still dependable after all these years. My new one isn't even dependable at the brand new stage. I was just hoping for a "digital" one. This one will be returning. The only thing that was nice about the precision was the appearance.Disappointed....Christopher Hodge

i've been on the hunt for a 3v lithium battery operated scale since my last one died on me. that's what i do like about this scale. i took it out of the box and stored it upright for no more than two days. when i was ready to use it one morning, i went to go pick it up and saw that the the metal rod on one edge had separated from the black plastic part, which in turn warped other edges. i was unable to put it back to its slot but maybe a strong dude could? even then, i'd worry that it was no longer accurate. WTH is that!? i think the support piece on the lower R corner, if you can see, is sticky (must be glued on). i haven't had a chance to return it yet; i will once i take my final exams next week, which is when they say i'll be refunded. annoying and unbelievable!

I bought this scale in hopes of being able to get accurate weight for when I prepare for Sanshou/Sanda and MMA competitions (I don't need or believe too much in body fat scales; just need accurate weight). Sorry to say that this scale is not good for that at all. I ended up having to weigh my self several times in order to get what I hope is an accurate measurement of my weight. I place it on a hard surface that is as flat as it can be and I would calibrate it first and get on it. Then to make sure I would weigh again, and then again with a marked weighted object. When doing this, I have had a reading that read higher than my known weight (as high as 4.1 pound over), then when I weigh again, it would then read really low which makes me confused about what weight I'm actually at. I have also gotten this when placing the scale in different areas of the surface I'm using (hard and flat), then I would weigh again and again a couple of more times with different readings and assume that the final readings that are consistent, are my accurate weight. Not only is this tedious, but it defeats the whole purpose of accuracy where now I have to find out what my real weight is (either go somewhere or buy a new scale); in turn wastes my time and money. This scale is good for people wanting a roundabout idea about where they are, but if you really need an accurate reading for whatever events you have planned, you will be frustrated and very disappointed with this scale to know it is not as accurate as they describe. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the scale and at this point it is more trouble than it's worth to exchange for another one to "test" and see if I have a defective one; I don' have the time and patience for that process.

I normally don't give reviews but this scale is so accurate I'm compelled to put in a word. Please if you are shopping for a bathroom scale and having difficulty deciding, look no further. This is the scale for you. It is very well designed/made, looks good and above all, very accurate. I couldn't have asked for more.

Not sure what is going wrong, but I've stepped on this thing 12 times in a row and got 12 different readings spread over five pound difference.

I compared my scale with my doctor's Balance Beam scale and it was SPOT ON!! As a matter of fact my scale was even more accurate than the doctor's scale because my scale goes one better in that it reads in tenths of a pound.

The scale arrived intact. Works well. Looks sleek in my bathroom. It was an oversight on my part and not a big deal but I did not realize that the display is not lighted.The only issue I've encountered is that the feet of the scale do not slide well. I keep the scale up against the wall and scoot it out to a level area to weigh myself. It does not glide across the tile but rather sticks and makes a lot of noise when moved across the floor. I would put soft pads on it but I'm not sure if that will make it inaccurate. Otherwise, good product for a good price.
