Q: When i plug it in to charge, the led just stays solid red. what does this mean?

there is a small button on the bottom of the mouse. once side is for using the bluetooth mode. the other one is to use the usb as a connection mode. id the small black button stays in the middle then it is just charging. there is a reference to this in the small operators manual included in the box.

The item description indicates that it will work with your iPad as long as you have iOS 13 or higher installed on your device.

Q: can the led light be set to 1 color?

Nope, it fades gently between all of them for a second, then it disco rave spazzes through all of them next. When you’re not actively moving the mouse the colors dim slightly but when you’re moving it around they’re at full brightness. Hope this helps
