Really good! BUT read before buy.
Ez Pros and cons list.Pros-Insanely good sound for the price.-Robust polymer construction. (i.e. plastic, but don't worry im sure its stronger than the cheap stamped steel most speakers use)-High quality connectors and hardware.-Actual carbon fiber weave cone.Cons-The depth. Its pretty thicc check the sizing for your application. Didnt fit in my WRX without a custom adapter.-adapter plate wont fit ALL the oem speaker bolt patters for example GDA subaru impreza’s 2002-2007 and 1990-1996 NA miata doors.-included foam tape is meh it works wish it was abit wider to seat the full back face of the speaker.-included JBL stickers are nice and metal (aluminum?) but the 3m backing tape is just too thin, i had some 3m vhb (which is overkill) that i used instead. Although if you have a clean, flat, smooth surface the included tape will work just fine. Just a small grievance but worth noting.I never do reviews on stuff but this deserved it.Pro installation is for sure recommended its not plug and play for all applications but if you can make it fit the sound is crisp, powerful and clean. The included crossover does a real good job and the tweeters are loud and clear.ALSO i would recommend (if it fits) foam baffle thingies from BoomMat they sell them in 3” and 6”You can get them here on amazon or autozone for real cheap. All in all totally worth. Ide buy again without question.

The bang for the buck is outstanding!
I've purchased several component speaker sets in this price range and I'm tempted to replace every one of them with these JBLs. These things sound so much better than the others it's almost embarrassing. You're not going to get audiophile-quality sound in this price range, but these are close enough for my ears. Plus, since they're 3 ohm impedance, they push your amp a little harder and you can get more power out of it than a typical 4 ohm set. Big mid-bass, clear but not harsh tweeters... they're great. Also, I'd 100% recommend putting an amp to these. The built-in amp that your radio has just isn't going to do them justice. I have one of the Soundstream Picasso Nano 5-channels pushing these, the matching 2-ways, and a little 6.75" Kicker sub in my beater Honda Element and it sounds so good you'd swear there had to be more to the system than that.

Phenomenal sound for this price range
Very good sound quality! Various mounting options for the tweeters, but directions for mounting are pretty non-existent. Running about 75 watts to each side, clean power. No fatigue over extended usage. Highs are phenomenal, not tinny, and not too bright.
