I'm not so sure about the claim that this battery holds more power than the original Shark battery, but one thing is for sure - the battery I received has a slow drain on it. If I charge it and leave it for a week on the charger, once it achieves 100% it stops charging and slowly drains. By the time I've come to use it, sometimes it's almost empty. This means when I needed to actually use it, it was useless and I had to charge it all over again.Lastly, I don't understand why the charging port they fit to the battery is the wrong size for the original Shark charger. You have to use an adapter, which is really annoying to add and remove every time you switch from one of these back to your original Shark battery.I do NOT recommend this battery. The only thing it's good for is if you use the charge about a day or so after charging it.

Fits our Shark vacuum and now I have two batteries so tha I can always have one battery fully charged.

Update: We reported the bad battery to the company. They replaced with a battery that works fine. Their customer service was great. We're now happy!We may have received a bad battery. It has died after using it 2 times and won't charge. It's very frustrating. Now we need to find out how to contact the seller for a replacement.

Just like the original. I am very pleased with it. Alternate between the one that came with the SHARK and this one Virtually identical and much much less expensive!

Battery was a year old. Charging after first couple charges was never the best. Had we not been home today our house would have burned. While charging for 1 hour the battery exploded in a fireball catching area on fire. While outside battery exploded again cause second fire in outside area.

I bought this because, when we vacuum our home. We run out of power before we finish (usually in our largest room). Now we can just change out the 2nd battery and continue vacuuming, while the 1st battery is recharging.

When we bought the shark vacuum we wanted a backup battery. The backup was not exactly like the original, in that it had an adapter for charging. I didn't think the overall life3 of the backup was very good. When it died, we ordered this one. Have not yet used it but it charged up quickly. I would like to have been able to get an original equipment battery rather than this 'compatible'.
