Amazing dried pepper for making chili powder. Roasted mines then blended it into powder. Very spicy and good with the roast taste added to it.

The chiles are what I expected. I use them for a marinate recipe for beef ribs in which they add a kick.The surprise was the size of the bag which is as described in the copy but is bigger them I am used to. This is a lot of chiles since they are dried. I either need to give some away or find some more recipes which use chiles.

16oz is a lot of dried peppers, I’d recommend the smaller size cause dried peppers do lose potency as they sit in my opinion. Overall good price and good quality product.

I wanted hot and I got HOT! The peppers are dried, of course, but still fresh and flexible, not mummified. I made a batch of Chinese red oil with them. Best--and spiciest--red oil I've ever tasted! Highly recommended!
