Works, but it's not nearly as bright as the halogen bulbs it is replacing
I bought this to replace the fairly dim LED lamp I replaced my halogen with a few years ago, since the replacement LED (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CFFATRM/, claiming 760-780lumens) was pretty dim compared to the original halogen. Since it's been a few years and LED tech is advancing quickly, I thought I'd try this model which claimed to have 1000 lumens (30% more than my original bulb). However when I received it, it appeared to be the exact same model I bought a few years ago (I couldn't see any difference), and was just as bright, despite its claim to have more lumens. So I sent it back and will wait until an actually brighter solution is available.

They installed with no difficulty and work just fine. They aren't quite as bright as the halogens
I just used a pair of the short 10W LED assemblies to replace the halogen bulbs in one of my motion-sensing security lamps. They installed with no difficulty and work just fine. They aren't quite as bright as the halogens, but are more than adequate and should use a tiny fraction of the electricity. I plan to order a half-dozen more to update some more fixtures.

Bought two. One did not work and the second would act up (buzz, go in and out) after heating up.

Not enough light.
This product is useless. I tried putting it in a 300W torchiere and it's like mood lighting. Even in a 100W fixture, it's not going to cut it. If I had to guess, you need at least a 60W LED module to match a 300W halogen.

Nice change from halogen
Was wondering if it would fit in the fixture and it does fit just fine. Being 10w it is still fairly bright for the driveway and front yard area in front of house. I will be ordering another one for the other fixture. Hope these last longer than the halogens they are replacing.[...]***DISCLOSURE***I received this product for free or at discounted price in exchange for my HONEST opinion. The opinions in this review are 100% my own based on my experience with the product, and I made no commitment to leave a positive review***Edit: the first one has lasted a while so I decided to purchase another bulb for the other half of the fixture. Works great. Still an easy install and I believe these will certainly outlive the halogen replacement. Now the drive and walkway are nicely lit from dusk to dawn and they get brighter when movement is detected (from the fixture) so these lamps can do dim well too.
