Got it done!
Happy I came across these after trying to get the same effect with regular candlesticks! I love the look.

Not to bad
Bought these to make centerpieces for my wedding. They are nice little drip candles but they burned way to fast. The wax would just build up in a massive stack in one spot. I ended up breaking off the buildup and hand melting the wax around the bottle with a lighter. I would definitely buy these again even tho it took a little more work that I planned.

These were great! Only took a few hours to burn and drip down our wine bottle for our event display. They do seem to burn quickly, so if you need to use them as candles as opposed to using them specifically for the drip, then you might consider ordering many.

Spiral wick ensures heavy drip
These candles do what they advertise. The wick spirals around inside the candle so it creates a lot of dripping. We used 3 of these drip candles to achieve our desired look (see photo of Shipwreck coconut rum bottle) then put a regular candle in the bottle. These candles burn quickly. Each one lasted approximately 30-40 minutes. We're happy with these candles and would recommend to anyone who wants the super drippy build up effect.

Too much
The media could not be loaded. I recently discovered the craft of drip candles- I’ve tried many tapered candles from different stores. What makes regular candles not drip is the addition of steric acid to the wax. These candles are too unstable- making a insanely fast melt and a downright mess. I think these candles would be perfect if it had a stabilizer that slowed the burn rate down- just a little bit- if it was half the intensity they are now it would be perfect. Oh well- my hunt continues.

Crudely made, not worth $15.
I can’t comment on how these work as I won’t be lighting them. The fact that they are extremely crudely made with the bottoms just hacked off and none of the wicks even close to centre means I’m not even going to light one to see if it does or does not burn evenly. I might have expected this if I had only spent $5 on some short 30 minute burn candles, but not for $15.

These dripped beautifully but burned WAY too fast
These dripped beautifully but burned WAY too fast. I bought them for a Halloween bottle centerpiece display, expecting to burn a little each night at dinner. They were completely gone in 30 minutes. I bought a second set to achieve the look I desired but they're just too expensive to buy again for such a quick show. The wax was brittle and broke off easily so I glued the little drip columns back onto the bottles to achieve the complete desired look. It's hard to say if I recommend them or not - if you're after a cool looking built up wax bottle, get them. If you want a long lasting drip candle, don't.
