Son loved!
My son wanted a bug birthday party. These were a hit with all the children. My son is still enjoying exploring them on his light table he got this past Christmas.

Worth it for bug obsessed kids!
These are fun for my 5 year old to use on his light table. The actual X-ray cards are nice and thick, and he loves them. The opaque paper cards with the picture of each bug are not great quality, but they are fine. We honestly don’t even use those ones. Overall pretty great for the price!

Mostly Asian Bugs; Common Names Not Included
Pretty neat! Cards are sturdy. X-rays are super fun! My only complaint is that the picture cards don't have the name on them and even the paper with the bug details only lists the scientific names. 30ish of the 36 bugs are found in Asia. The rest in Europe, Australia or South America.

These are SO NEAT!!!! I don't know who gets more excited about these...me or the students in my preschool class. I use them as a match up activity. There is a full color picture card for each insect. Cards are very detailed. Each card has a matching plastic x- ray type picture that can be placed directly on top of the picture. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in insects! A truly impressive variety of insects!

Roylco...how 'bout making it easier on the art teacher...!!
The x ray and the card have no corresponding code or number to link them together...if you buy these, and you should because the kids love them, take them out of the pack and get a sharpie to number them along with the printed fold out information sheet. YOU WILL BE HAPPY!

Very realistic materials!
X-ray pictures' sizes are not same as insect pictures. However, the insect pictures seems like real. some of cards are too creepy to touch it even they are only pictures. Each cards has different two sides. You can see insect's both sides from up & down.

My students love these
I have this set and another of animals. My students and I love them. We used them for exciting games of match and to compared internal anatomy. The "x-rays" are really just prints onto transparency film, but that makes them much more rugged. Mine have held up really well. I wish the x-rays were better labeled, to allow students to self-check, but that's easily fixed. The x-rays aren't super detailed, but for elementary kids, they are fine.Nice variety in the pack.
