Mato & HashStars And Stripes Military Shemagh Tactical 100% Cotton Scarf Head Wrap

Thank you, so much. I have had less than stellar experiences in the past with keffiyeh being cheap made and seller days cotton but it's a polyester blend. This was delivered fast and was much nicer than I expected. It's a full 48" x 48" so it's larger than most which I like, it's 100 percent cotton and it's all woven and embroidered . I was totally expecting it to be printed stars but nope it's all embroidered it woven. It's a nice light thin cotton it will be nice for warmer weather but still function perfectly. I received this as a 13th wedding anniversary gift from my wife. Apparently 13 year gift is supposed to be fabrics and textiles. I have bought and used several Shemaghs before and have seen really high quality and bad low quality. This Mato&Hash shemagh is different than most others I have used but is still a super high quality! My old standard favorite shemagh is made with a loose and fluffy weave of heavy threads that makes it wonderful for cool and wet weather use. it is very heavy but still comfortable to wear. I had another that was basically worthless gauze. It provided no sun or wind protection. Maybe it could have been used for camouflage but I gave it away to a friend.Now this mato&Hash is different from either of those like I said. It is light enough to use in very hot environments but is a thick enough and tight enough weave to be useful for proper sun, dust, and wind protection. The weave is very smooth to the touch and against the face. As much as I really like my old thick shemagh, I have a strong feeling this new American Flag version will now be my go-to and everyday carry protection.The stars and stripes do add a non-middle eastern look so often stereotyped by non-informed peoples. I have some friends that aren't aware of Western and military use of the shemagh for outdoor protection. These poorly informed people often use derogatory and inflammatory terms for those of us that wear them. I do my best to correct their ignorance.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting. I loved the way it looked online. Even better once it arrived!!I washed it immediately and it's amazing.Whatever way you choose to use it. Looks great!Quality was better than expected too. Won't be disappointed.

It gets very cold where I am in the winter I planned on using it as a gator.

This is an amazing product. I've got 3. 2 are for me and 1 for my pup. . I was hesitant at first. I thought it was too thin but man was I wrong. It's my go to and I wouldn't have it any other way. The coloring is awesome as well. OD green and red with some stars, what could be better?Me and my pup matching of course!

I expect it to be very light and thin but it’s actually a little dense, I use it at work to keep the sun off my neck and it’s perfect, if you want it for cosplay be warned it’s a little warm but if you want one for actual use it’s perfect for me and will serve you fine.

Great design, but I have so many loose threads on the weave, I don't expect to be wearing it for next year's season.By comparison, I own about 30 of these and this is by far the worst woven one I own.
