wavy hair and this brush works wonderfully to straighten
Works perfectly! Bought for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas but I have been using it too. We both have very thick, wavy hair and this brush works wonderfully to straighten. I loose patience with blow drying and then using a flat iron, this is an amazing way to avoid that hassle, and the sore arms

The temperature/power button are in an awkward place and even with the lock, I still accidentally turn it off every now and then. It does what it's advertised to do. It pulls my hair a bit more than I care for, and hasn't completely replaced my flat iron.

Frustrated!
I really wanted to give this 5 stars as, it is excellent with straightening my hair! My frustration, although you can control the heat levels, it gets so hot to the touch everywhere on the straightener, is awkward to handle while trying not to burn yourself and the plug falls out of the outlet while in process of straightening... As I said, it is fantastic for straightening but definitely needs work!

Worth the money!
Bought this for my daughter and she loves it! She does have very long hair so it takes her a bit longer than 30 minutes, but that's fine. Works just as well as some very high dollar ones we seen at the mall.
