Works great!
Used this to power a doorbell camera that I mounted on my camper. I even accidently shorted out the power leads when working on the doorbell, and while it did pop the 12V fuse, it didn't harm the converter at all.

Works fine at ~3.8 Amperes in 94°F cabinet it is 104°F
I put it inside my wall in a Levi ton Structured Media cabinet with a mirror on a hidden hinge covering the opening. It provides power to my cable modem, three (remote} router pod thingies, two 8-channel Ethernet switches, the smart controller for my Navien Tankless Water Heater, my caseta hub, and the gateway for my Ecowitt weather station. That normally totals less than 4 amperes. I chose a 10 amp converter to have a large guard and I chose this one because it doesn't have a bulky, attached, heat sink. It has been running fine for a month. The cabinet also includes two 48V NVRs with spinning hard disks, with the power supply is outside the cabinet. I have a thermometer inside the cabinet that says the air is 94°F even though that in the room is just 74°F. I used an infrared thermometer to check the temperature of this converter: 104°F.

Seems to output a solid 12v. (Around 12.3v or so is what I measured)
I used this to convert the 52v battery in my scooter to 12v so I could run some headlights. Even at 58.8v it outputs 12v perfectly fine. Running 2A (12v 24w) for 30+ mins in the deck of a scooter on top of a controller that can get hot. Doesn't seem to have any issues with it. If I have issues I'll try to update the review if I even remember.

Exactly what I needed.
Putting accessories on a motorcycle is easy. 12v DC. Same as a car. But an ebike??? 48v??? How do you install blinkers, horns, lights, cameras, etc.???? This little gadget makes everything normal again. Add a 12v DC power source to your bike and customize away!!

does not current limit
I was hoping it would limit its current (12v to 36v 3A max) as it was "adaptive" however it continued to draw well above spec. I popped the unit and blew a 20A 12V fuse. I was a little late pulling power to save it. Should work fine for a load that would not exceed the 3A limit.

Works great, has a fairly large input capacitor
Works great for powering two 12V fans from a 48V battery system. I was a little surprised by a small spark when connecting it up, it must have a fairly significant input capacitor. In anycase, the fans eat 0.4A @ 12V and the converter doesn't even get warm. I wound up putting a small inline resistor on the input to make the solid state switch driving it happy.

Works well and gets the job done
As the title suggest, this device works well and gets the job done. Using it to power several USB devices and so far there is no problem with its maximum current rating pushed. Very little heat is generated and the epoxy job is great. Highly recommended.
