Perfect Interactive Learning Toy for Toddlers and Preschoolers
As a mom who limits screen time but also understands the value of technology for young minds, this learning set with accompanying app is absolute perfection. First, the packaging is so lovely, this could and should be the "IT"gift for all toddlers and preschoolers for holidays and birthdays. When you open the box the letters themselves feel super luxe. They are solid wood with soft sponge-like receptors on the back that glide on your ipad's screen seamlessly. The apps themselves are excellently made and I could see them being useful for years to come. I love that it's also an app that will engage adults as well as children allowing for the best kind of screen time.As far as how my son enjoyed it, a little background first. He is 2 and a half and has never been a big fan of iPad games. We haven't trieda handful (including Endless ABC's and a Sago Mini game) but they've never been "fun" or a great learning opportunity from my point of view. This was not the case with the Marbotic app. Immediately after seeing and holding the letters he was eager to dive in. After 20 minutes he was still excited to be playing and I actually had to say we were taking a break. It's been a few days and he asks to play every day. I think they have truly found a way to make learning the alphabet, phonics, and vocabulary fun and engaging.Overall I think this is a must have if you want your child's screen time to be as purposeful as possible and a great investment toy. I also bought the number set but haven't opened them yet.

5 kids played simultaneously on iPads comfortably sharing and trading letters
These were a huge hit in pre-k and the novelty of manipulatives coupled with electronics drew a huge crowd. 5 kids played simultaneously on iPads comfortably sharing and trading letters. Very engaging games that were self directed and self checking. Easy app downloads on multiple ipads. Perfect for 4-5 year olds. Kids engaged in letter recognition, letter sounds, letter matching, phonemic awareness, fine motor skills. My highest students were engaged for over 20 minutes challenging themselves. Two thumbs up.

Love the idea
I love the idea of this product, I bought months ago for my son for a Christmas gift and was so excited to give it to him. I did not realize however that even though I paid almost fifty bucks for this game, you would have to pay for the games on the app.. it comes with 2 of the 4 offered I believe. Kind of a rip off now that I realize what I’ve paid for.

Great addition to educational toys.
We received this item and it is so cool. My daughter absolutely loves it. The letters are the perfect size for her to grab and they interact with the corresponding app. We have been loving educational toys and this is just another lovely addition to our collection. Beautifully made and they offer other packages such a shapes and numbers too.

Love this product!!
My 2 year old learned his alphabet from these letters - without even using the iPad much! He loves toting them around, lining them up, and then putting them in the plastic trays they came in. Everybody who sees him play with his letters is impressed with their quality and the app is great. Highly suggest!Additionally, we lost the letter L. I emailed the company and they've reached out to send us a replacement letter! My son will be thrilled.

Fun game and well made letters. My three year old loves it!
These are really cool! My son is almost 3 (will be three in 1.5 months) so he is technically young for these (and the apps with the letters are a bit more advanced than the ones made for the numbers) but he is really enjoying them so far. The letters themselves are wooden and well made shaped like the letter and brightly colored in various colors. Each letter has three tabs on the back, which I assume are the sensors to make the ipad and app recognize the letter. There are three free apps that come with the app, each for a specific age range. Since my son is so young, we've only used Vocabubble, which is a a letter recognition/vocabulary building game. I feel any review of this product should include a review of the app since you can't use the letters without them. The Vocabubble app is fun. You put the correct letter on the letter on the screen and then a the letter bursts and pictures pops out. You touch the letter to the picture and the app with zoom in on the picture, say the word, and spell it. I will ask my son to identify the pictures before putting the letter on it. He really likes the pictures and enjoys playing the game a lot. My one criticism is that some of the words they choose are a little advanced. For example, we were playing with the letter D when a camel popped up. He said camel, but I knew they weren't going for "camel" because the word had to start with a D. I figured it was Dromedary, which it was, but that's a bit much for a 3 year old. Also under G they use the word "gnu" which starts with a silent G. That's a terrible word for teaching beginning readers. There are other odd words, though those two are the ones that stand out to me. I like my son to be exposed to new and advanced words but Dromedary? Really?

the apps are not really fun for kids
We liked the sesame street numbers, but the the apps for this set are boring.

This is a wonderful toy!
This is a wonderful toy!!! It really makes learning FUN. My grand-dgtr loves playing with it and helping her with letter recognition and sounds. It was simple to download the apps (be sure you follow the directions to download the free ones) and their cusromer service replied timely to my emailed question. Though technologically loaded -it is child (& Grandmother) friendly. I've worked with an early intervention program that continues to emphasize the importance of learning being child's PLAY, and this product truly does just that!

Brilliant idea beautifully crafted.
Bought this for a friends four year old daughter, she immediately took to it and is still loves regularly "playing letters" and is learning loads without it being a formal lesson. Highly recommended.

beau produit
belle qualité pour les lettres. les applications à télécharger sont sympas. Nous avons également les chiffres et mon fils est ravi et se sert des applications seul (4 ans) (sous surveillance évidemment mais il gère)
