Heavy Duty Garage Door Floor Threshold Weather Seal Rubber Draught Rain Excluder (7ft)

For best results take your time make sure your floor is clean, dry and free of dust. With Garage door closed push one end of seal under door as far as it will go up to door and mark floor with a pencil line against rubber then do the same at the other end, Then using pencil line as a guide you can see where to cut out by the pillar once cut to shape & size it can be put in place close Garage door again push up to door and put a pencil line all the way across, open door again and draw a pencil line along the other side of seal. I then put duck tape along both lines to help stop overspill of glue onto the floor. Then after gluing the floor I put the seal into place pressing down then removed the tape and the put weights along both edges after about three hours I just needed to trim some small amount of set glue from floor using a stanley knife.

Did the job brilliant

I'm a regular diyer and this was simple. I actually cut the length using a chop saw and again, used the chop saw to create a channel through the yellow strip to fit around my garage door fittings. Perfect job. The temp was around 14 when I installed it and the strip was flexible with no problems. Adhesion to blocks was fine apart from 1 corner which I weighed down with wood and a large rock for a couple of hours.

The adhesion was not the one showed in the advert, not sure if that made a difference but the rainfall and the water came straight underneath the strip despite me emptying a full tube of the adhesion in various formations the full length of the floor where the strip goes. The strip itself seems like good quality so it can only be the adhesive. I will pull it up and try a different adhesive, I just hope the strip is still usable. Disappointing.

Used to prevent water and dirt ingress under a garage door. Preparation is essential to ensure clean, dry surface for it to adhere to. Followed the instructions and "hey presto"! It works! The supplied adhesive sticks like the proverbial! As I've said it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

A very good product that did exactly what I was hoping it would; finally stopping my garage from flooding!Took all of about 5 minutes to cut and install. The adhesive worked well and bonded brilliantly.I simply can’t fault it, very happy.All in all this is worth twice the price!!

Just unpacked and followed the installation video. It has stuck well to the concrete and fits neatly in the gap below the garage door.Good value and has completely stopped draught, water and leaves coming under the door.Very pleased with this purchase.
