Surprising quality
Solid earbuds. Quality wiring. I was surprise that they sounded louder then my previous brand. I think they have a good range of sounds in general. They are a bit cold because they are metallic. Not sure if it's the right thing to wear in cold weather. The 1/8 plug is a bit big but very solid. Impressive for the money. I hope they will last long.

Bass bangers. Great value for the price.
It is so hard to find good gym earbuds. These replaced a very old pair of Beyer Dynamics that had been super-glued back to life several times as I just couldn't find anything that matched them for thump (even the new BDs were rubbish!). Initially I thought these sounded screechy but once they bed in and you get the perfectly snug ear canal fit which is hard to achieve (go the foam not the rubber) they are genuinely strong: thumpy bass, refined mids but still lean towards being a bit shrill on some tunes. For the price they are a winner. Given that I'm still using an iPod Classic I need the wired option and these guys are well worth a look if you like thump in your buds.
