This item is most definitely not as described. It will not swivel as shown and there is extremely little other movement. It probably has arthritis in the swivel component! None of which helps the person using the stick. I cannot under any circumstances recommend this item, and believe its description should be changed.

The stick will not pivot or move at all at the base. This is a key feature for help with balance difficulties; and the stick sold is therefore not as described in its marketing and adverts. A substandard product was shipped in place of the advertised product.

I badly strained my calf and this cane has made a huge difference to my recovery. Before I got it, I was reluctant to take the daily walk I was told to because I was worried about people bumping into me. (This is based on repeated experience.) So I thought I'd get a cane so people would know I have a problem walking and to give me that bit of extra stability. The Hurrycane is great. I like that it can stand by itself if it is on level ground. It does fall over if the ground is uneven, though. But when paying for something in a shop, it stands by itself fine. I also really like how easy it is to fold up. My calf is improving now and I don't need the cane unless I am in a busy area or getting on and off transport, so I pop it in my bag until I need it.

Does not swivel as shown, cannot be swivelled even by hand. I complained to seller that the wrist strap was torn and also the non-swivel. I was sent a new wrist strap but the other problem was not even mentioned.

Excellent walking stick - so good as stands on its own. If it falls, press yr foot on the base & voila, it stands up again.
