When I first received this stepper, I loved it! But now the count wont work and I have replace the batteries several times. Its not even the battery anymore. The steppers that I have purchased in the past never had this problem. if anyone has any suggestions on how to get this to work, I would appriciated it. I finally was able to fix the counter but now the stepper is breaking apart, the metal is actually coming apart!!! so now the steps only come up a tiny bit so you don't get a workout at all. horrible product! I would love to get my money back for sure

Stepper foot over rides when in use
I just opened my package and has difficulty to start using it since there is not set up instruction. I finally figured out that to start the stepper you need to raise the stepper foot to the highest by the screws underneath. The problem is..the stepper foot is too close to each other on pedal that they over ride and produce a clicking sound( not good since they rub each other. The magnetic switch (what is the purpose of it?) once pushed in is forever lost..the electronic meter does not work..it does not count..the worst problem is the stepper over rides each other...Did i get a bad machine?...or is it the way the machine was made? There is no help line phone number.this stepper is quite expensive...enclosed are photos of the problems..please respond. I like the stepper but it is a risky one due to the rubbing of the edges of the stepper plate..it is dangerous and it is really cumbersome to be returning it..this product should have been inspected if it was really working right.

DON'T BUY! BREAKS AFTER MINIMAL USE.
We ordered the IPO Portable Mute 3D Stretchable Health Fitness Mini Step Machine, and initially really liked it. However, after just a couple months of light use, the item completely broke. One of the welds completely tore away from the body of the product, and now it is useless. We are outside the 1-month return window, and are having difficulty contacting the seller (the item is now unavailable on Amazon). It feels like we got scammed.

Big Disappointment
Maybe I received a damaged one or something, but even after I figured out how to adjust the knob to make the pedals go up and down, (which was deciphered by reading others' reviews, since instructions tell you absolutely nothing about it) my pedals only go up about an inch. I thought maybe I was too heavy for it, but even when I just push with my hands, the pedal range of motion is extremely limited. Very disappointed. Will be returning.

So good, but fatal flaw...
I actually would love this machine if it didn't have a couple of problems. While the pitch is high and it feels like you're getting a great workout walking up a hill, it continually drops shavings of metal/plastic under the stepper. If it did not do this I would keep it! The pictures below were after I cleaned up the original pile of filings and put a plastic bag under it to gauge just how bad the problem was. These new filings were from 15 minutes of stepping. I loved the work out! But it makes me wonder if when what is being shaved is done being shaved, will it cease to work at all? It leaves several piles, so not just one part is being shaved each time you step. The second problem is the tension doesn't stay put. It loosens. I didn't care so much about that, because you felt like you were going uphill anyway. I'm very sad I have to return it.

Well worth it
I've been using this every day since I got it and I have noticed a very nice change in my legs and butt. It's super easy to just walk while watching tv and ten minutes really feels like you're doing something (so long as you have it set to a decent resistance.)The slightly inverted structure gives your hips a subtle twist to help with your butt and thighs. You CAN twist yourself if you want to, but after trying it both ways (twisting vs just standing and let the machine do its thing) it hasn't made a difference in how my belly feels. In time I'm sure it will come, but you will get better results if you add some crunches in with your routine. The resistance bands it came with I find are quite useless. I personally use a couple free weights to work my arms and shoulders while I am walking and it has felt a lot better. Perhaps I will re-purpose the bands later on.I am personally not a fan of the "massaging" feature on the pedals. It's just spike-y and grip-y and honestly if you're wearing any kind of shoes at all (I tried sneakers, flats, and flip flops) you don't feel it. I suppose it helps you not fall off of the thing but for anything over 5 minutes I don't recommend going barefoot with it. I did try it barefoot before bed a couple times and it's not terrible for short periods of time (5 mins or less) but it's not pleasant either. If you are like me, or like most other people who need to just do SOMETHING workout wise, and simply "don't have the time" to work out, never fear. You don't have to get dressed head to toe in gym clothes you are probably just going to give away in a few months after spending $70+ on them. Just put on a comfy top of some kind and your shoe of choice, pants if you want- if your legs scrape together when you walk (avoid chaffing and use some baby powder if you're gonna do shorts or no pants) and just do it. Ten minutes on this thing, work your belly if you want somewhere in there, and you'll feel better. Also, this thing is so small. You could stick this anywhere and it'd be fine. I have mine in front of my couch so when I'm done I can just fall backwards and take a nice nap. I am not fat. I am not lazy. I walk 5+ miles in my workplace five days a week. I just feel better adding something extra that actually feels like it's doing something.I wasn't paid to do this or anything, just an honest review from a lady in a tiny apartment who has a long ass commute every day and was tired of just going to work and going to bed.

Great for small spaces
Great for small spaces. Hard to use at first but then I got the hang of it. Great so far. Love that I can slide it behind a chair in the living room too. Gone are the days of giant equipment in my house. Ahhh...space:)
