Bent & Freck Strap Wrap - Dog Harness Strap Cover - Fleece Padding for Harnesses and Collars Prevents Rubbing & Chaffing (L/XL, Black)

I ordered 2 straps in different sizes. One worked perfectly. The other was a little narrow. Was able to make it work. I bought them for my dogs harnesses, biecause they were rubbing their bellies. It works for what I needed them for.

I had been looking for anything that I could use that was pre-made to go around the straps of the easy walk pet safe harness for my 120 pound Great Dane. I read all of the reviews on this page before I purchased. I even paid for expedited shipping to get this product quicker than I what I could have for regular shipping. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. First this product is extremely long, you are forced to cut it, and this is supposed to provide comfort to the pet since the harness straps rub/chafe under the front leg area with exercise. The velcro pieces that are sewn onto the fleece material are so sharp that you can literally cut yourself with them. This is a huge design flaw in this product. Why would these be sewn together to fit over the straps with a stretchier type fabric? I feel like this product is advertised falsely and marked up. The entire thing couldn't have costs more than 3.00 to manufacture yet with shipping I paid 33 USD for it. If I could give a 0 star review I would. I hope someone finds this information useful.

The easy leader harness, for which this wrap is a great fit, works very well with my lab but it chafes his skin. I have been looking for a simple solution to this for some time. The material of the wrap is soft and the velcro parts are very secure. Not sure how durable it will be but, for now, I'm happy with the purchase.

A great idea that unfortunately was not well executed. Once I cut the segments to my desire length the velcro started to come un done and the stitching started falling apart. I had to take it to get it reinforced. Hope you guys can better your manufacturing since it is a great idea.

Rubbed her skin raw!!

I was rubbing my dog bald using her easy walk harness. I wanted to use the harness but not cause her to chafe. I found this and it’s great! Others have mentioned cutting it for size ‘, but I just used the whole thing around the entire harness. You can Velcro around the latch openings. Holding up well. Sturdy!

I will say it's a long length which is nice, you can cut it to fit your harness needs and then have extra when the first piece falls apart. However, it's fabric you could easily purchase yourself at a craft store and then make it yourself. It's not amazing quality, but it gets the job done (helps prevent harness chaffing in my dogs armpits).
