My wife and I were well pleased with how quickly we received our order (a day earlier than originally scheduled) and, at this time, are equally well pleased with the Mattress Protector. However, given its life expectancy (and the 10-year warranty), quite frankly it will take some time for us to decide how pleased we are with it in the long run, based on how well it holds up. We are very happy with it so far (it fit beautifully over a new mattress we purchased at the same time that turned out to be much thicker than I expected a mattress to be!) and doesn’t seem to affect the comfort of the new mattress in any way (either that or it’s equally comfortable when we lie on it). My wife was somewhat concerned at how thin the material on the sides is (the portion that covers the thickness of the mattress) and hope that neither our use of the bed with it on it nor our two cats jumping on and off as they are prone to do will snag, rip, or tear it.It certainly seems to represent good value for the money as it cost only about one-fourth of what mattress covers were selling for at the store where we bought our new mattress. We are keeping a thick spread over the bed during the day and are taking every precaution to ensure that nothing is spilled on the bed and that nothing scrapes the sides that might puncture it (at least, as much as we are able).

Little ones call for mattress protectors. They drool, they urinate, they spill bottles of milk, juice, or water. Sometimes they throw up. None of this is stuff I want to be figuring out how to clean OUT OF a mattress, so I prefer to keep it OFF the mattress in the first place. But little ones are also more sensitive to chemicals than adults, so I don't like off-gassing vinyl. Plus, vinyl is crinkly and gross-feeling, and over time it cracks and doesn't protect the bed anymore.So I much prefer a mattress cover like THIS. Polyurethane laminate on the back side makes it waterproof. PUL is, obviously, not natural, and it may not be ideal, but it's safer and healthier than vinyl and it does the job (unlike any natural fiber I can afford). The upper side is a cotton terry, so it's very comfortable to sleep on. (Not that you typically sleep directly on this. But you COULD.) There's no crinkling; it's very quiet.It attached to the mattress with a pocket that runs the entire perimeter of the cover. (In other words, it looks like a fitted sheet.) The pocket is plenty deep, so it should accommodate even a fairly thick mattress. The only thing that gives me pause is that the fabric for the pocket is pretty thin, and we've had one (of a different, lower-quality brand) tear along that portion. I have a little bit of concern that this could happen here, but so far there's no evidence that this is the case, so I'll just keep an eye on it.I'll be picking up a few more of these as spares over the next month or two.

I have not opened the package and used this mattress cover yet, but since it's my second one I can still say that it's a great cover. I decided I needed another one so that when I wash one I can immediately make the bed with the other one. This cover fits the mattress very well, in fact it has very deep pockets. Doesn't crinkle and make noise when lying on it and the terry cloth doesn't snag or wear down. I've had my old one approx 4 yrs and it still looks new after use and repeated washing. I'll stick with this brand.

This product is great!It delivers on everything it promises.I bought one for my bed because my grandson frequently naps with me.Recently my daughter purchased a new mattress and I bought this for her. She was reluctant to buy a mattress protective cover because she HATES the plastic feeling and how sweaty you get with them.After reassuring her that there is NO sticky sweaty feeling from this cover and ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC CRUNCH OR FEELING from this mattress protector.The only thing you feel is SOFTNESS, DRYNESS, COMFORT AND SECURITY!With all those words of praise my darling daughter made me PROVE to her that this mattress protector actually protected!So I put my money where my mouth was.And I poured about 1/2 of my 16 oz bottle of water on the mattress protector and we waited. As the water spread along the top of the mattress protector and it soakedUp the spill NOTHING NOT A DROP went through to the mattress.As annoyed as I was that I had to prove to her that the mattress protector actually worked.She finally agreed to ALLOW ME TO PURCHASE THIS MATTRESS PROTECTOR for the mattress and box spring that I was buying her.Ahh, the JOYS of being a parent!

I ordered the Mattress Guard Premium Mattress Protector for a Queen sized bed via Amazon Prime and it arrived on time and undamaged as usual.I purchased this for me and my wife's bed which is currently our 2 year old daughter's bed too, and yes it is a bit too late since she's 2 now, but better late than never. The guard's top side is soft, and bottom feels latexy/rubbery to the touch which is the protection. I don't really notice the extra noise, but if you are sensitive to sound you might not like the rustling if you toss and turn a lot, but it doesn't bother me.My daughter is potty trained, but sometimes she sleeps long periods in which she can't hold it toward the end, in these cases it's usually a lot too. The day I got this guard I washed and then put them on, and then a couple days later my daughter slept long and we got to test the guard. The sheets were soaked, and the guard was soaked on top. When I lifted the guard up nothing had seeped through to the actual bed, and there was a lot, so I am very pleased with this guard so far. In the last month they've protected my bed twice, so they've been washed 3 times (first initial wash, and 2 accidents).My daughter's bed already has a full size of this guard, so it will be protected from the beginning unlike ours. My wife and I are very satisfied with these mattress guards, but wish we'd have bought them long ago.
