quality nozzle
I too use this on my Iwata HP-CS with a 0.5mm needle and cap.most of my painting is 1/24 so i find this helps with consistency on larger areas, while controlling dry needle (especially with metallics).word of warning, when setting the needle, refrain from pushing to hard on the needle end while tightening the nut as you will just splay the nozzle! this is not a fault with this needle, but common for all airbrushes.

Lets see... it does work but i have had many instances where this clogs up where a 2 peice nozzle doesnt. Im going to chalk it upto the design differences seeing as the 2 peice has a much larger dia body and the nozzle tip dictates the size opening. Where this is basicly designed for 1 size needle so the tolerences are tighter around the needle.

Perfect for base coating and priming
I have been using an old no brand 0.3 air brush for priming till now, but i finally decided to buy the 0.5 nozzle set for my iwata eclipse and it has been a god send, really making the priming and base coating a breeze, and also the clean up its way easier. Would totallly recommend to anyone who wants to prime using your airbrush without worring about cloging it and/or using thicker paints.

and easy to clean -- I feel like a sultan living ...
I switched my HP CS Iwata airbrush to this 0.5mm from the 0.35mm setup and I it saves a lot of hassle. The 0.35mm nozzle is made of two pieces instead of one and was prone to breaking, after replacing it THREE times I switched to the 0.5mm one and won't look back. One solid piece, doesn't break, and easy to clean -- I feel like a sultan living a life of luxury. There is a noticeable difference in the spray area and paint volume with this larger nozzle, but just took a little adjusting to and it works just as good for painting.

Great for spraying over wide areas or spraying thicker paints
Although it's annoying you have to buy this larger needle separately, it gives a whole new array of options for the HP-CS brush, and is invaluable for basecoating larger models. I'd definitely recommend this nozzle set if you're going to try and spray metallics as well, it will save you the headache of unclogging your nozzle every 5 seconds. I'm going to paste Amazon links to the other 2 items you need to convert your brush below, you do in fact need all 3 if you want to fully switch over from the standard .35mm needle setup!.5mm Nozzle Cap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BQMBZK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_21.5mm Needle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BQMC0E/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_29
