Good for one grow
Value and work great for each grow then disgrace re calibration does not work.

Ph meter for testing mare's milk
I bought this meter to measure pH on my expectant mare's milk to help predict her foaling window. I'm very impressed! It is much more accurate than testing strips for pools. There is none of the guesswork of trying to match the color on the test strip to the color on a chart. The meter measures exactly and accurately, from 0.00 to 14.00. Tonight measurement of her milk was 6.23 as opposed to looking at a color chart and trying to figure out what color orange the test strip matches. The meter was delivered on time, packaged well, and extremely reasonably priced. I highly, highly recommend!

OK meter
I’ve had one of these for several years, and it worked fairly well. After about 3 years it became erratic and unreliable, so I bought another one. Calibration doesn’t seem to work; the instructions say to “contact us”, but there is no contact information. This one reads about .15 low across the range of values, so I’ve just made a note of that, and it’s close enough for my purposes.

No stars
This is a piece of detritus. You know, the stuff the fish leave on the bottom of your tank. And I don't mean the food. It is actually worse than an off brand pH calibration solution I purchased. Amazon, you need to start carrying some quality products. I have been in the aquarium hobby since I was five. Started with a Trinidad guppy, a minnow and a 1 gallon Mason jar. I am 76 now and I have seen some trash over the years but these last two purchases were horrible. All I wanted was a pocket meter for a quick check. Followed the directions to calibrate. Carefully measured 250 ml of distilled water and mixed the powder until completely dissolved. Waited the five seconds and counted the 3 flashes and cleaned with distilled water, dried and moved to the next calibration solution. Went through all three. Just for kicks and giggles I put the meter in some water from my saltwater tank. The pH in it usually runs 8.1-803. Not with this thing. Nope, it was 4.6. I no longer trust the reviews because I don't know if I am even getting the same product. Evidently, there is a lack of quality control in the manufacture of the two items I purchased. This meter and an off brand calibration solution. By the way, I tried to use that solution to calibrate this meter after it failed using the powder than came with it. It was still so far off it is worthless. Between the two it was close to $50 wasted. Oh well.

Love it!
I bought this after seeing this type of product recommended on You Tube by the lady from Rosewood Homestead. I was frustrated using litmus paper to test the ph of the products I was canning because it never read any different no matter what I tested. This product is a god send.I now feel comfortable water bath canning knowing the ph of my product is in the safe zone. It is calibrated by the factory and I’ve had it a year and it is still calibrated. It comes with products to calibrate on your own but I really don’t understand the instructions so I’m thankful I haven’t had to do that. It’s easy to use, and has a sturdy case.

I just don't trust it.
Though straightforward and simple to use, this pH meter just behaves erratically in my hands.I'm a lab scientist, and I've used multi-hundred dollar meters many times. I don't expect this to be that. But I do expect it to give -roughly- the same measurement each time I use it, and to behave predictably.Even after it's been calibrated with the included standard buffers, this thing's reading drifts like crazy. I'm using it to pH-adjust nutrient solution to water my houseplants, and it takes a long time to stabilize once you put it into the solution. Even when (if?) the pH value settles on a single reading, the values don't always align with other readouts (3-pad pH dipsticks and General Hydroponics 5.5 - 8 pH solution). This meter does broadly correlate with approximate pH. It's not a nothing-meter. Maybe it would be more stable in strongly buffered solutions, or useful for science demos comparing strongly acidic or alkaline substances. But for my needs, it's too noisy and unreliable to trust my plants' health to.
