This is the EXPEDITION CyclePump with rubber armor and a 90-degree air chuck. The CyclePump is finest motorcycle tire inflator you can buy. If you want quality, performance, and reliability then you've come to the right place. It has a LIFETIME Warranty. This model has a 90-degree air chuck, so it easily fits between valve stem and hub. The CyclePump uses a powerful 12-volt, 10-amp motor and a high quality metal compressor specially designed for motorcycle applications. The CyclePump is proudly made in the USA by American workers. We don't use fragile plastic components that’ll break if you drop it on the ground; instead we house the components inside an aircraft-grade aluminum case. The locking air chuck is solid brass. We armored the switch and beefed-up the components so the CyclePump is virtually indestructible. It's truly ready for a ‘round-the-world expedition. Connect the CyclePump to any 12 volt power source. We give you 4 powering options: 1.) battery alligator clips, 2.) cigarette lighter plug, 3.) Euro DIN (BMW) style plug, and 4.) a flat SAE connector that’ll plug into most battery charger pigtails. Attach the air hose to the tire using the locking brass air chuck, flip the switch, and begin filling your tire. Tire inflation time varies by size, air density, voltage, laden tire load, etc., but as a general rule the CyclePump will fill a front motorcycle tire in 2-3 minutes and a rear tire in 3-5 minutes. Topping off a low tire? Those last few pounds will take less than a minute. Whatever brand you ride, the CyclePump will fill your tires quickly because it’s rated to pressures over 100 PSI. The aluminum case is only 2" high x 4" wide x 6" long. Stored in the cordura pouch with all the wires and power connectors, the overall dimensions are 2x6x9". Weighs 34 ounces. The CyclePump is hand crafted in Seattle by motorcyclists whose goal is to make the finest tire inflator in the world.

Best tire inflator ever? Probably!
I love this little air compressor! It's a CyclePump Expedition, which is the same internally as the CyclePump Adventure. The difference is in the exterior, where this is built a little more rugged, as it has rubber covering both ends. This comes in a nice little pouch, which is bigger then it Needs to be, but it allows you to add extra things in it. For me, I added a tire gauge, spare valve stem, spare valve core, spare valve cap (which is also a valve core remover) and still have plenty of room to add other things. I just folded it up though, and stuck it in the bottom of my pannier. It's very light, reasonably small, and worked flawlessly when I aired up a tire just to test it. The pouch is also made of a heavy duty material, and I don't see it ever having any issues. It's bright Red, and easy to see in my luggage.I personally bought this one that has the 90degree chuck, which makes it Much easier to use on my Hayabusa, and Ninja that has limited room around the wheels getting to the valve stems, especially with my XL sized hands. My DR650, which is what I keep this in the Vast majority of time, has plenty of room, and I easily could have used the straight chuck kind, and saved a couple dollars. However, I'm not always alone, and I felt the 90degree chuck was more "universal". I also could have just used a straight through air gauge with 90degree chuck, but that would just take up more precious space in my luggage.I have a battery tender connection on my bike, and the cord is long enough to reach both tires without any issues. (It comes with different ways to connect to a power source on your vehicle. cigarette plug, BMW plug, SAE plug, battery alligator clips)I honestly don't know that the differences between Adventure and Expedition models are worth the extra money for most people. For me though, I am often out in the middle of nowhere, and by myself. When that happens, I want the most durable product money can buy! This is made by the people at BestRest, and That guy really knows his stuff. I have bought multiple kinds of his products, and have been happy with every single one. I have Never had an issue with anything they make. My only issue, is that his website doesn't offer free shipping! This has led me to buy his products, from different sites, where if the prices were equal, I would have most definitely bought from his site! I have talked to him through email, and he is a great guy, and answered all my questions. This is an American Made product, and carries a Lifetime warranty! How many products can you say that about in this day and age? I had my eye on the Adventure one for Years, but never felt "justified" in spending $100+ just for something I Hopefully will never need. Well, one nail in my tire in the middle of nowhere changed that. I went for my cheap one, it sputtered for a few seconds, and stopped working. It had simply bounced around for 50k miles, and something stopped working. I don't see that happening with this one though! I am glad I waited though, as now the Expedition model exists, and I will gladly pay the extra money for the peace of mind, Knowing that this will be there, and actually work when I need it!If you are reading this, and you are like I was, debating if it is Really worth the money? I would most Definitely say it is. Expedition vs Adventure though? That's more of a personal choice. If I was a 100% street rider, I wouldn't have paid extra for it, but going off road, I Definitely believe the extra protection from the Expedition is worth it.

works GREAT! Small, fast, not too loud.
I believe this is about as close to perfect, particularly for a motorcycle. The one caveat: If your bike has a can-bus electrical system, the cigarette lighter type power adapter won't supply enough power. However, It comes with a SAE power plug (and jumper cable type alligator clips as well as domestic type cigarette lighter type plug). The SAE plug hooked right up to my battery tender plug and pumped my front tire up from 34 psi to 44 psi in about 25 seconds. Car and truck tires will take longer, but this little guy is just a great product.

Great product
This unit is as compact as possible and works well to inflate tires. On long motorcycle trips, you gotta have this. It stows well and it works when you need it.We were going on a 1,300 mile trip and a friend recommended this product over another cheaper one I was looking at. By the time I had everything packed, I was glad to have this one for its compact size and my expectation of its quality. Along the trip while we were stopped on the side of the road, a fellow in a car approached us for help as we were in a remote area and his tire light was on. We had no idea where the nearest tire shop was and there was no cell service. No problem. We were able to locate the screw in his almost completely flat tire, plug it with a small plug kit that I added to this pump, then get his tire reinflated and everybody was on their way. All without losing much space in my bags. Knowing that your equipment will work well if it's your tire that's having a problem in remote areas is priceless.

Well Made High Quality Great Packing (Would buy again but costly)
SummaryGet the 45 degree end model if your use is on larger big motorcycles so you can more easily access the tire valve stem connection.VERY HAPPY WISH I had bought this years ago instead of buying cheaper products that do not work as well
