not 50 years old!
This vinegar is definitely not aged! And it certainly isn't aged 50 years!!! Real aged vinegar has a smooth, mellow, sweet flavor. This is harsh and bitter with a real bite to it! I would never order again!

Not as described.
This seems to be a case of people selling on the Internet without bothering to become fully informed on what they are selling. No where is there any indication of age on the bottle. It does state on the back label something about a solera. Soleras are a fractional blending system widely used in Spain. The solera may be 50 years old, but only a small amount of the vinegar will be. So, I feel that this is misrepresented as to what it really is, probably due to the seller not understanding how the whole sherry wine and vinegar world works. I will try and see if the product is any good, but the seller needs to redo their description.Well, I tasted it. It is a good sherry vinegar. It is not 50 years old and probably from a fairly young solera. Sorry, overpriced for what you get.
