Sadly, I gave as a memorial book for a friends dearly departed cat. The cover has a soft microfiber suede feel, theInside has a pocket to slip your cats photo, and the clip open and shut ring binder has many pages that prompt, details of your cat, while alive as any "Baby's First Year" book might. Vet visits, stories you can write about cat's likes and dislikes etc. The company even added some extra pages and offers a website to buy more insert pages for a second cat. I was thrilled with every aspect and consideration that went into creating this gorgeous memory book. I hope they never stop making this memory book!

I received a cat journal as a gift. I filled it out for my oldest cat and have to admit I really enjoyed how it took me back to his kitten years and when we first brought him home. I wish we would have had this when he was a kitten to fill out with our children. The information this journal guides you through was exactly what we were trying to teach our children about the responsibility of having a pet. I liked the emergency plan they outlined in the book, I hadn't thought about finding local hotels that take pets in case we weren't able to stay in our home. I have used the permission letter for my pet sitter, again it was nice to be walked through the type of information my pet sitter should have. I really like the look and have it displayed as a coffee table book in my family room.
