Real Leather Crafts T8170-01 Basic Leather Tooling Set

I wasn't super impressed with these tools when I bought them a few years back. The tool edges don't always have edges to tool with and aren't as effective as I was hoping for because of that.

This kit is a great way to learn the basics of vegetable tanned tooled leather. Comes with a little project to get your feet wet. I would have never thought I would enjoy this so much. If you have good drawing skills, but want to work a bit on your 3 D skills, I cannot recommend a better hobby. Bonus, you will be able to make the coolest book covers and belts.

I have been using a few leather tool and needed a few more. I saw this set and decided to get them to finish a leather sheath for a knife I have been working on. I used the new tools on the sheath and am pleased with results. The tools are easy to use.

This product is spot on the description. Great Value and decent quality. I would recommend for any beginner to try

The "Real Leather Crafts Basic Leather Tooling Set" is the first set of leather crafting tools I have purchased. A very good starter set.

Good little practice set and not a lot of money, is great to get someone started and can always be added to a larger set.
