Not used. Birds don't like Nyger seed
It's not the suppliers fault but in our previous two houses the birds have gone crazy for Nyger seed. Not this house. Absolutely not interested. The feeder seems nice though. The plastic feet would have been chewed off eventually so metal is a better choice.

Mealworm feeder
This is easy to use and clean. The birds find it easy to use. As soon as it’s filled up, it’s stripped clean. The only downside to it is that the lid is a little flimsy. It lasts I would say about eight months a year then the hinge breaks. Once that happens, the birds seem to find a way in flipping the lid and then getting stuck.

Good Quality.
Birds enjoying eating their meal worms from this. Easy to fill & clean too.

Needs adjustment
Seed holes were too small. The goldfinches only found the seed after I enlarged them. Seems OK now the birds have got it sussed. Looks a little flimsy but time will tell. Quite good for the money.

Keeps pigeons off
Only lets the smaller birds feed so less waste, fairly solid construction. The flip top is great but as it’s part of a cast hinge system I don’t know how long it will last but after a couple of weeks still seems good. The double height perch system works well once you manage to get them out of the main tube and assemble it.

you get what you pay for
Absolute rubbish, bottom fell off same day as put out depositing peanuts on the floor. Re-fixed and refilled but off again next day. Just not well made or fit for purpose

Highly recommend it
I like the flip lid a lot, and also the port holes were the birds feed at they can't waste much as they can only take a bit at a time, the only part letting it down is putting it together you have to be extremely careful as the plastic bends other than this I'm going to buy more to put on my feeding station no big birds can hold on and get seed so that's another big bonus,

Birds love it
Easy to assemble and fill. Birds love it. Good value for money. Unfortunately, starlings (not seen in our garden for years) discovered it. They emptied 3 unguarded feeders within hours. The guarded feeder in the photo was shunned by blue tits, great tits and robins for months in favour of the unguarded feeders. Not any more as it is the only feeder that the starlings cannot access. They have tried!!! I am gutted as I wanted to be able to leave enough mealworms out to cover times when we are away from home. The guarded feeder will not keep the mealworms dry like the unguarded one so it seems we can’t win - unless the starlings move on.
