My family and I are using salt and pepper for pretty much anything that we eat and go through both like crazy. Every other week, it seems, that I am having to go and buy more salt and pepper, which in some cases, could end up being a bit expensive depending on what brand you do get. With money being spent on spices, I was having a bit of trouble trying to get other products for the week. However, I was really happy when I was accepted to try out this salt/pepper grinder. This grinder really has worked quite well for my family and me so far. I probably won’t have to continue to buy salt or pepper for a while with this product.This product is really unique with the way that it’s made. There are two chambers on the grinder except for just one. One side/chamber can be used for your salt and the other side/chamber can be used for your pepper. Neither side does contaminate the other, which is really impressive and a really nice feature to have. Each end of the grinder has a dial that you can turn in order to get whatever kind of constistency that you want with the salt and pepper. You can make it real fine to somewhat coarse especially for spices like the peppercorns that I tried with this. You can, also, use other spices and dried herbs to be grinded up. I have not tried to use any other spice in this product yet, but will to see if it does really well like what other customers have said. The company did not disappoint me with this product at all.The cleaning of this product is very decent. I did not have to do any kind of hard scrubbing to get anything out of the blades or within the product, itself. All I did was used hot water and some mild detergent(Nothing with bleach, though). Everything was cleaned out very well. As soon as I got done with the grinder, I stored it inside one of my kitchen cabinets until using it again. However, you could sit this at the middle of your kitchen table or wherever you keep your spices at until you do use it again. It’s very easy to store and no problems what so ever. I will be using this grinder a lot whenever I do cook food at home. This will be a great time and money saver. I am very pleased with this product and will definitely recommend it to anyone. This is the coolest kitchen gadget! I'm always on the look out for unique kitchen gadgets to help our family of 6. We go thru pepper and salt like crazy and have been in need of another grinder for a while.This particular grinder is sleek, durable, and really easy to use. I love how there are two separate sections for two different spices. I thought I'd try something different and I put in huge dried garlic pieces on one side and pepper in the other instead of salt and pepper for our pasta meals when we have our bread and olive oil.I filled one side with peppercorns and the other with the garlic. Neither side contaminated the other. The garlic ground up perfectly and with ease as did the peppercorns. The dial to adjust the size you want to grind the spices in is very easy to use. We had our spices for our bread and oil olive dip in no time.This grinder is nice to look at, seems to have a pretty decent weight, easy to wash and put back together. It is also a wonderful space saver. Perfect for apartments, families like us that have smaller kitchens, or really anybody that is looking for a grinder.
