We have always used foil for our brisket, but decided to give this a try to eliminate aluminum affects on food. The paper worked wonderfully & we won’t be using foil any more! The meat stayed very moist.

The first roll I purchase had plastic inserts in the end of roll making it easy to keep the roll covered between uses and the new roll no longer has the inserts causing me to come up with another way to keep the roll covered between uses.

Good quality paper, does the trick on the grill or in the smoker

Good "weight" - it's not so thick that it can't be folded/formed, but it's not so thin that it tears when you look at it sideways (or move it around on the grill)

This butcher paper is very nice but doubt I will use more of it as I don't like the result I got. But don't let that stop you from buying this butcher paper as it's a very good brand.

Works great for smoking.
