I bought an antique school desk and wanted this for it.

So the product is exactly what is described. I love the product.I gave this a 1star for packaging. It was sent USPS between two pieces of very light cardboard, then was put into a flexible flat rate envelope of sorts. NO WHERE on the packaging did it say "fragile". Not only was it broken when I opened the package, but there were pieces floating around in the packaging.If your going to sell a product that is this fragile and "vintage" then you really should take into consideration the packaging. So NOT happy with how poorly the packaging was thought of.The really frustrating part, I would have given a 5 star rating. It came early, the price was good, and it was just as described. Packaging was the problem.

I was so happy to snag several of these for my children to practice writing. They are real slate, so they have that wonderful slate feel when you use a slate pencil to write with them. My kids love them, and if I'm honest, I like to write on them too!Update: after 2 months, two of the three have cracked in half. They are VERY delicate! One of them must have fallen, but the other was in perfect shape, was put on a shelf, 15 minutes later it was cracked in half- from nothing happening to it. They are so cool, but maybe not for kids to take care of.
