Go for the larger size
I did not get the bigger size which is required for full-sized dogs. On one hand- this is super solid material that is very visible, on the other hand it does not allow a happy game of tug-o-war. It did not become a dog favorite at all. She left it and did not care which is not her usual way when she loves a toy. It is however, high quality. So, for the right dog this may make sense. Go for the size up.

Great for small dogs, not for bigger dogs
I was slightly disappointed, one reason was my own fault I didn't read it closely and it was smaller than I expected. But also was disappointed because it was destroyed after only 5 minutes just from my dog having it in his mouth. If it had been bigger and sturdier it would have been more suitable for our needs. It would be excellent for smaller dog breeds.
