Golden mellow berry-delicious!
A yummy treat! This is a golden, pleasantly sweet, fresh and fruity jam. A taste that is unusual, but reminiscent of strawberry and mellow grape, to my tastebuds. Seeds are visible, but not gritty or unpleasant. The poha berries are clearly discernible when you spead this on toast and the fruit is fully ripe. I wished I had ordered more than one jar. If you want to try something from Hawaii that does not taste 'too tropical' or off-the-beaten-path of familiar, then I think you would like this jam. It does not have a store-bought jam consistency, not full of gelatin or starches...a real heirloom, old-world kind of jam.

Poha Jam, much more than give it a try.
Right away when I turned the lid, my finger darted into the jam.I'm not shy about tasting new jam before letting a knife spread some on my beloved English muffin.Sweet/tart joy, with a taste of the islands, somehow is translated by my tongue A 5 star experience!My Poha Jam adventure in taste called me back to the islands. I depart tomorrow [s].

I don't know why I don't order this more often. The taste is just as I remember it. Brings back wonderful memories of Hawaii!
