Strangely, it really works!
I have been in the process of moving, starting a new job (I'm a Government Attorney), and trying to navigate a short sale purchase of a new home through Bank of America lately. Suffice it to say, sleep hasn't always been quick to arrive lately.I picked up a can of "Mellow Mood" at a Wegman's near Philadelphia one night on a lark. Honestly, I suspected that one of two things would hold true:1) It would taste like death, but might work (see generally "NyQuil Green Death Flavor")2) It would taste decent, but wouldn't work. However, I figured Bob Marley (or whatever company now owns rights to the late Rasta's image) would know something about relaxing, so I ponied up $4 for a can. When I got home, I drank down the entire can in one go... flavour was very nice, so I figured it wouldn't do anything at all.I'll admit, it doesn't work instantly. This stuff isn't like Sominex, you don't get that neat coma feeling and fall asleep in your soup, or anything equally horrendous. But after about a half an hour, I was really mellow, and getting tired... yawning a lot, and sort of pleasantly detached. I wandered upstairs and fell asleep, and slept straight through the night, about nine hours, for probably the first time in two months. The next morning, there was none of that strange, residual tired that seems to happen with Tylenol PM and other pills... I felt wonderful, and ready to get up and get going. This stuff is wonderful! My parents bought me a 6-pack of it through the Marley website... it also worked for my 60-year-old father, who sleeps poorly, and my mom. The six-pack also comes with a little bottle of something called "Tahoe Energy" or similar, which seems to be the company's answer to 5-Hour Energy. I haven't tried it yet, but it probably works well.I don't know if this stuff would keep working over the long term, or how much of it was placebo effect, but it worked really well for me, and the taste is pleasant... highly recommended for those nights you just can't seem to slow your mind down to get to sleep.
