Easy, Comfortable, and Reliable
I purchased this strap specifically to try on an older MIJ bass that has smaller, hard-to-fit-securely strap buttons. Other straps easily slipped off, even with a rubber washer to hold them in place. The auto-locking mechanism on this strap holds even these smaller buttons securely. It's also very easy to take on-and-off, and you don't have to worry about stretching-out the leather. Speaking of leather, the strap itself is supple and comfortable. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought another one to use on other basses.

The best strap!
My favorite strap! Very comfortable and securely locks on. Easier and cheaper than putting strap locks on all your guitars. Combines the feel of soft leather with the quick adjustment of a nylon strap.

I like it, but it doesn’t work for all guitars
I got the black cotton strap. Feels really good quality. It’s soft. It’s comfortable. And I really like the locking feature! I’ve only had it a week or two so can’t speak on its durability yet.I got this strap for a Taylor acoustic but it won’t even connect to it. The strap connection on the guitar is on the bottom back of the neck and it’s too tight for the strap piece to slide over it. So that one is not an option. (see in pics)Then I tried it on an Ibanez acoustic. It connects on both sides, but the placement of the connections on the guitar make it to where the strap needs to twist and be put on face first at the neck. This strap does not allow you to put on backwards, so doesn’t work on that guitar either. (see pics)So, I ended up putting it on a Strat. Works and looks great!I think this strap is more for an electric than acoustic. So if you need one for your electric I would recommend this one. If you’re wanting one for an acoustic, this is not the strap for you. Maybe it will work on some acoustics, but didn’t work on the two I tried.

Great for taking to a guitar store, but not comfortable for longer jam sessions
I have some nice comfortable leather straps, but they all have the old Dunlop strap lock system, I can’t put them on anything that doesn’t have those particular Dunlop strap pegs. I put the same strap lock system on all my basses so I can switch instruments or straps at will. But I can’t take those straps to a guitar store and I don’t like playing without a strap. So I got this strap to take with me. It’s great, it works with any strap peg and it’s small enough to fold up and carry in my pocket. It isn’t very comfortable and I certainly wouldn’t use it for longer jam sessions, but for testing out a bass for 20-30 minutes, It’s perfect.

Comfort, ease of use, quality
Wider strap offers more comfort; heavier guitar bodies (Gibson Les Paul) seem to weigh less. Locks work very well and easily... did however not fit onto my one acoustic but so far on all sold body electric guitars... both Gibson and Fender. Good quality too... this strap should last indefinitely.

One of the best straps I’ve owned
Love this strap. Not having to install strap locks is a game changer. You gotta try one if you haven’t.

Works amazingly well!
I tried to put a regular strap lock on my Fender Newporter Player acoustic-electric guitar and there's not enough length on the input jack pin. This works exactly the same but requires NO installation! I only wish I could put this same clip on my current strap because it matches so much better, but this is my Pride strap now!
