Leotruny Over the Calf Tube Socks

Not happy with these socks AT ALL. The blurb said "80% Cotton/15% Nylon/5% Elastane", and "Fit Shoe Size: Mens 6-12 Womens 7-13". Well, don't believe it!I wear 11 1/2 - 12, depending on the shoe, and I will tell you that these socks don't come anywhere CLOSE to fitting. Maybe a WOMAN'S 6 - 12, but certainly not a Man's.To add insult to injury, they do not seem anywhere 80% cotton. More like 80% "Elastane", in my opinion. Maybe if they had been 4/$9 I would have given them to my wife or something, but at $9 EACH, I had to send 'em back. You might check out socks from Glenoaks Supply . . . . MUCH better. Again, in MY opinion.

First of all: these are NOT what I was expecting/looking for. I've been searching for "sweat socks" (primarily cotton content, terrycloth or "cushioning loops" interior, ribbed upper) for my Eleven from Stranger Things costume. These socks are 80% cotton and I actually love the texture, but not only are the calves TIGHT (I'm 5' 3" with slightly large calves and the socks land just underneath my knee,) they are NOT "sweat socks." They are thin, not sweat-absorbing, and the calves stretch so tight the pattern is deformed. Yes, I'm being picky, and if you have small calves and won't be doing a lot of walking, these are great. But anyone with legs thicker than your average prepubescent girl, don't bother.

I loved the socks. However I am very small compared to most and have tiny calves. They were a bit snug on me, although not totally uncomfotable and I'm 100 lbs dripping wet. However, they weren't scratchy or see through and they made my Stranger Things costume rock.

These are the screen accurate socks for the Riverdale Cheerleader practice costume / cosplay. The fall just below the knee, have the right amount of stripes (3), and the color is correct. These are well made and thick enough where there’s no show through. They stay up well and look to be made with quality cotton and workmanship. Get these for your Riverdale Cheerleader Costume or cosplay. My girlfriend loves comfy socks like these!

Looks just like the photo! Only reason why I took off one star is because the elasticity is quite tight and one of the socks has a black spot on the sole. Also, I'm not sure if I just have long shins, but the sock doesn't cover my entire calf.

I bought these for a Halloween costume (11 from Stranger Things) and they looked perfect, but are super tight. I had to wear them as mid-calf socks because if I pulled them up to my knees, my legs turned white from compression. My calf is 14" around, which isn't very big for an adult woman, and the product review says this is a unisex product. I can't imagine many adult women or men being able to wear these socks pulled up over their calves.

Didn't realize that the stripes are just screen printed onto these socks. I'd assumed it was actually part of the knit. Nope. These are also shorter than the pic makes them appear. They're mid-calf (on a 5'4" woman) rather than nearly knee-high. Meh. Disappointed.
